KOSTENLOS
1 : enjoy the graphics 2 : impress blonde baddie with a motor bike 3 : leave Babbdi 4 : think about Babbdi
THE BEST free game I've ever played
This is the perfect example of "you don't need high quality graphics and complex characters, movements, actions and combat to build a great game". It is short, true, you can finish it in one day, including all the achievements, but it is so fun and it gives unique vibes. The eerie atmosphere made me even more intrigued abut the story of the city. Amid the rudimentary, unfinished textures of the buildings, I also discovered a powerful message from the developers. I think they wanted to highlight the daily life of modern people through heavy exaggeration. In some apartments, TVs are left on, showing distorted faces of politicians - which immediately made me think of what we are fed daily on the news: politics. The fact that the protagonist is trying to escape what is literally a concrete jungle mirrors the struggle of reclaiming our own life and identity in a world made of thick, cold walls. I highly recommend this game.
Genuinely one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. It looks terrible, and by all accounts it IS terrible. But no game comes remotely close to the feeling of BABBDI.
