About

Azoove is a co-op card roguelike about overcoming limited communication on an ill-fated save-the-world road trip to seal a cursed book.
Survive together with online multiplayer, playing cards to manage resources, mitigating each day's new dangers (Misfortunes) as you trek further through the Azoove desert.
During one phase of each round, communication with allies is limited to exchanging cards without revealing your hand. You must learn to trust in your teammates — or die trying.

Collaborate Silently! As the Heroes fan out in search of Opportunity Cards, players are not allowed to discuss their hand. You must instead deduce the best move from what little planning and information you have.
Exchange Opportunity Cards strategically to share information and optimize the use of dwindling resources. Create unique communication patterns that help interpret the meaning behind traded cards.
The game will not force silence on you. You are expected to be using your own communication software (such as Discord) and follow the rules (or don't — we can't stop you but we promise it is more fun this way)

Play as 4 heroes with their unique powers and cards:
Oriana, the Ranger
Sage, the Forager
Auri, the Bard
Rin, the Guardian

A lifetime past, Farloon's founder saved his people with a stolen book of secrets. Now, with his death, the payment comes due - the souls of your city.
Only returning the grimoire to its rightful wardens may divert Farloon's fate - but a deadly desert lies between you and your city's salvation.

Tinker with Trinkets: items that grant passive abilities that strengthen and steer each expedition in exciting new ways.
As you overcome Azoove's normal challenges, add additional rules to complicate and challenge veteran players.

Very interesting co-op board/card game with unique mechanics (party members can't communicate during certain stages of the game and they need to plan their actions before and deal with consequences afterwards). Currently its in EA, but updates are frequent and feedback is being listened to by the developer. Also there's already solid difficulty settings and after understanding basics any party can find comfortable setup. I've enjoyed my time in it, but looking forward to 3/4 player co-op, because its gonna be even more chaotic, unpredictable and fun!
This game is so simple as to be perfect. 'Co-op by necessity' games are hard to pull off but this one works brilliantly. The simple yet challenging mechanics are perfect for people of all different interest and experience levels with cooperative games. I probably play a minimum 60 hours of games per week; I play this game with my mom who has never played another video game for more than about 15 minutes and we are both able to enjoy Azoove. The real genius of this game is that you can learn how the entire thing works in about 10 minutes, but it never stops being interesting. This is to say nothing of the absolutely beautiful artwork and music this game has to offer, which are both a joy in and of themselves. The game's aesthetic is this perfect mix of the gritty elements of a survival rogue-like coupled with the unapologetic hope and fun-loving indulgence of the fantasy genre. I cannot recommend this game enough. My only caution is that you'll want to go in on it with a friend, as having a partner to play with is an absolute must.
Hidden Gem. Absolutely worth playing, one of the best coop experiences i've played in a while.
A captivating co-op card roguelike that invites players to embark on a thrilling expedition across the hazardous Azoove desert
At its core, Azoove is a masterful blend of resource management and strategic decision-making. Survival in the desert demands careful balance of essentials like food, water, and stamina, adding a layer of tension to every step. The rogue-like elements infuse each expedition with a sense of unpredictability, ensuring that no two journeys are ever alike. However, some players may find themselves wishing for more content to explore, as the game can feel a bit too short. The game offers high replayability thanks to its roguelike mechanics. Each expedition is procedurally generated, ensuring that no two adventures are the same. In summary, Azoove is a standout co-op card roguelike that masterfully combines strategy, resource management, and cooperative gameplay. Its beautiful visuals, innovative mechanics, and emphasis on teamwork create an engaging and immersive experience. Whether you're strategizing with friends or navigating the perilous desert on your own, Early Access Rating:7/10 Consider checking my gameplay before making your purchase https://youtu.be/TWWz_KvuUJo
Delightful afternoon for three friends and myself, though it did take my friend's Discord, Steam, and browser behind an Arby's and shot it. Mild connectivity issues aside, the game does a wonderful job of emulating a heads-down cooperative experience in a way that's bite sized and digestible. Will keep an eye on further works from this bird!
Very fun co-op resource management game. Turn-based, not real-time, so runs can be as fast or slow as you want depending on the players- they can be 10 minutes or 2h+. The misfortune & spite levels make each run have new interesting decisions, and the gameplay mechanics are easily picked up. Modular difficulty level, with the default well-balanced. There's also some lore if you're into that. The one notable downside is bugs that sometimes require reloading mid-run or crash the game, but the developer is working on them and very responsive, so these'll probably be fixed soon. Azoove makes for great bonding with moments of correctly guessing each other's thought processes or of communicating well ahead of time. Strongly recommend.
Cool aesthetic & enjoyable system. Finished a few runs solo. Not the deepest game from what i can see so far but still satisfying balancing out character buffs with card choices (I love anything choose adventure/rogue lite/multiple runs with a touch of RNG despair). The runs are relatively quick especially after you figure out UI and basic rules. Probably would be more fun playing with others as the game seems designed for that but i only tried single player with a bot teammate so far. Looking forward to playing harder difficulties and maybe finding humans to play with.
Azoove reminds me a lot of playing Oregon Trail, in the best ways. The learning curve is a bit brutal at first, but the challenge is fun. The roguelite aspects grant additional starting resources, so initial losses still help new players progress. These resources make subsequent runs easier. When they feel like more of a challenge, the players can choose increasingly higher difficulty levels to unlock new trinkets and add variety to their adventures. The multiplayer element also adds a lot of depth. The players must rely on each other to succeed, setting each other up for success and hoping their companions pick up on the strategy they want to employ. This adds compelling tension to the game. Gameplay aside, the music, art, and writing tie everything together very nicely to set an elegant tone for your harrowing struggles to survive in this fantastical land. Highly recommend!
literally the best possible combination of coop cardgame resource management. its so peak
It's a wonderful simple card game. It is quite intuitive, and it's easy to pick up and start playing. Coming up with strategies and planning the next moves with my partner before the beginning of each day was surely helpful, but we were surprised to find out that it is not enough... The silent part during each day often surprised us, and sometimes we had to take leaps of faith in order to survive. Plus, the graphics and soundtrack totally add to the experience. Highly recommended!!!
