About
It was the Golden Age of Heroes.
And in that time, the Sultan did decree: "Bringeth to me the Demon Bottle of Hatt-Zon."
Thus did Zahid Al-Azar set upon his quest.
A short dungeon crawler packed with monsters, traps, and cryptic puzzles - made in 3 weeks as a companion to Azaran: Islands of the Jinn.

Short and sweet. If you enjoyed the original Zelda you will enjoy this. Shouldn't take more than a few hours to finish.
PRO: YES so awesome to play something showing love to the classic ZELDA dungeons CON: bro in this day and age just a couple dungeons? Some kinda open world or maybe even side scrolling sections between or something, it's more like a demo for Zelda's dungeons instead of an advancement / modern take on the formula, THAT SAID, still reccomending because it was still fun to play a game in the style even if it was just a portion of the style and only one of the elements.
A very good derivative of the first Zelda, a bit short and it would have been perfect if there were a couple more levels. The soundtrack was ok but could be improved. Most puzzles were obvious and enough context was given beforehand, Looking forward towards the 3d game and maybe a sequel.

This is a very simple Zelda 1 like but I feel like it does the puzzle solving and the vibes perfectly. By simple I don't mean easy, I just mean it has very few original ideas from what I've seen. Really excited for the full 3D game
diagonal attacking is cursed
It was okay! I understand this is a companion game to the 3D adventure game the dev is creating, and from that point of view I think it fulfills its purpose, which is to make me interested in THAT game. Viewed alone though, it's competently made and a light diversion. - Puzzles are fun. Most of the game really only has a few puzzle mechanics, but they're developed well. One puzzle is extremely obtuse though, and I had to look up the solution. Everything else felt fair. The second level's power-up is where it really starts to pick up and feel good, and the third level has a few more interesting puzzle solutions. - Combat is fine. The enemy variety is standard for this kind of game: melee guys, guy who shoots projectiles at you, guy who moves around the screen randomly. Nothing crazy. Health pickups are generous so you can mostly just spam attack and hope for the best. - Art and music are basic. They're modeled after old-school Zelda, but I feel like Zelda had more going on artistically. And even if Zelda were a bad game, we could do better.
Very cute and clever Zelda-like. Mechanics so simple, they make your momma say "Boys, I can't make you meatloaf tonight, I'm too busy grinding out the good ending on a Azaran: The Demon Bottle, and I just gotta free Hatt-Zon from the shackles of the Sultan's desire." Excited to see how the sequel turns out!
A great little bite-size demo. The puzzles were fun to solve and there was only one that I got stuck on. Otherwise the combat was fun and simple and having six different directions to point really made it feel more fluid.
pretty fun, puzzles are all good, main item is cool. i like zelda 1
Impressive.
