Awakened: Dark Space

Frankly i don't know what to make of this game. I thought the Forest and light effects were some of the strong points of the game. I could not understand what the voice actor was saying (his voice was too low like someone mumbling), the game is very dark and you walk really slow ( I am used to walking sims but this is something else).Also, I got lost at the wooden 2x4 that i could not remove and I did not want to continue. I will give this game a passing C- for the effort since it is the dev's first one man game.

Felt nice with the graphics Had trouble starting it with subs which led me to get lost, but after catching up on where to go it picked up the pace. Reviewed it thanks for the free game. will give it a further try in the future, but very positive so far!

So this game is very much a spooky walkin simulator. Pros: - The story gets very interesting, especially towards the ending - It runs fairly smooth - No combat if you are looking for a game that is not about fighting Cons: - The plot can be a lil WTF at times - The voice acting is... just ok - It has a slow start Overall I ain't mad I played it but probs won't be replaying. I give it 3/5 glowin cubes

La storia risulta però interessante e pur con una porzione fantascientifica più laterale di quanto ci saremmo aspettati, la progressione premia il giocatore con indizi che andranno a togliere i veli da un puzzle ben più articolato di quanto ci si potrebbe aspettare. Non ci resta altro che aspettare speranzosi l’uscita dall’accesso anticipato per la recensione finale, consci che il gioco di Moonlore Games Studios ha un ottimo potenziale.

So, I love a good horror game. As much as I wanted to enjoy this game I personally did not. I would give it a meh hands instead of a hands down but steam doesn't allow this. I'm sorry, please don't hate me ;). I found this game to be super slow, walking just felt like a chore as the main character walked at about a snails pace. The voice acting felt lifeless and was there just to make up the game plus it was super quiet and with his accent it was sometimes had to pick up what was being said. The inventory was a total mess. The writing was super small and while I do have decent eye sight even I was struggling to read what was put and at times it was quite easy to miss what the newest thing was added. Also with dyslexia it just messes with the head. I suggest more of a notebook style and being able to choose between pages for inventory and notes etc. The game felt like it didn't know what style it wanted to be. Horror, then there was cults and then Aliens??? Then there was a weird growling noise in the cave my twitch chat calls "the Cave Goblin" which was just funny more then anything. The ending with the spaceships felt so out of place with the art style of this game and just left me feeling like WTH. I am impressed with how this game looks. From what I see its a 1 man team and you did a really good job with the graphics. I did have a few glitches where a crystal would be see through. I also think that this game is maybe to high in price for the length of it. £10.99 is very high and would say £5 is more of its price tag. I feel like this game could be abused for refunds since it length. I can see this game having potential in the future.

No he podido aguantar más de 23 minutos jugando a este videojuego, es extremadamente aburrido. Se nota que el juego está hecho con cariño y ganas, ofrece extensos mapas (hasta donde he visto) y el autor le ha intentado dar una profundidad e historia diferentes. Pero nada de eso sirve de algo cuando el juego es aburrido, tedioso y presuntuoso. Dicho esto, el juego tiene mucho texto, el cual a los 5 minutos mi mente ha ignorado por completo, obviando su existencia, así como todos los pensamientos en voz alta del personaje principal. Yo solo me limitaba a andar esperando algo interesante o de terror, pero la búsqueda no tuvo éxito. Llegado a ese punto me dije a mi mismo, o sigues jugando, o te pones a limpiar la cocina, tú decides, e hice lo mejor que podía hacer, dejar la cocina como los chorros del oro.

Going into this game I didn't know a whole lot of what to expect, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. If you're looking for a game with a very indepth story and world building then I can highly suggest giving this game a go. A very good story, mixed in with very creepy ambiance that keeps you on your toes from start to finish. Definitely look into giving this game a try, it's worth playing and was a very enjoyable experience!

I really enjoyed this game. It goes completely into left-field in the end which was totally unexpected so I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about that ending but it was decent enough that I can recommend it. The character walks very slowly so if you're used to sprinting around, this is not the game for you. There are a couple minor puzzles to solve but it's mostly walking and narrative. I enjoyed the story (although again that ending kind of felt like it came from nowhere to me) and I liked it enough to play it a second time to see if I missed anything the first time through.
