About

The world is breaking… AWAKEN - Astral Blade is a 2.5D action-adventure metroidvania where you play as Tania, a bionic warrior fighting through a world twisted by Karpas energy. What began as a search mission quickly turns into something far more sinister, as the missing investigation team proves to be only the beginning. A mysterious force has corrupted the land itself, twisting wildlife and vegetation into hostile, unpredictable forms. But this world doesn’t explain itself, and you uncover its truth piece by piece.
Master a precise and responsive combat system built around speed, timing, and control. Chain together dynamic combos, parry incoming attacks at the perfect moment, and turn defense into offense. Use Quick Rise to stay in the fight, and dash through enemies to slow time itself, gaining a brief window of invulnerability and devastating counterattacks from hordes of enemies and bosses.
Explore a dense, interconnected world designed to respect your time while encouraging discovery. Uncover hidden paths, fragments of a lost narrative, and remnants of those who came before you. The deeper you go, the more the world reveals — and the more dangerous it becomes.
Harness the mysterious Aether, a volatile resource and use it for your own benefits. Enhance Tania’s abilities and strength, unlock new combat skills, or invest in upgrades that adapt to your playstyle. Whether you focus on raw strength, mobility, or tactical flexibility — the path forward is yours to define.
Face intense combat encounters and powerful bosses, or adjust the difficulty and gain helpful buffs when needed. The experience adapts — but the journey remains yours.

I finished this on story difficulty (see below) with Ending A after 9 hours and using a map. Initially, I wanted to gives this a lukewarm recommend, but I cannot do so anymore. The game is tedious as hell, and low enemy variety and bullet sponge bosses made combat and exploration not very fun overall very quickly. The game scratches the metroidvania itch, without it really standing out in most departments otherwise. I like the graphics and everything looks mostly polished. On the negative side is a garbage story that is trite and confusing, inane dialogue and some design decisions, which did not do it for me. Graphics and world-building also feel very inconsistent: aliens, spaceships, plants granting abilities, christmas trees, just put everything into a blender and ... well. It worked well for Nine Sols, here it feels cheap and amateurish. Worst offender for me were the accessibility settings for difficulty: I applaud that they exist, but the implementation is idiotic: the game starts out nicely on standard just to present you with real bullet sponge bosses (and boy, most have a second health bar). The third boss (three graces) was so spongey, after being prompted to turn down difficulty after dying many times, I was stuck on story difficulty because you can only put difficulty back up again at set places, which I hadn't found yet even despite playing for hours afterwards. Normal areas on story are a joke, so this baffling design decision is kind of ruining a part of the game. Why not have an option to just switch difficulty whenever you want to?! Given that combat started soon to feel repetitive, I kept the difficulty low, but the game still felt like a chore quickly. A pity.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good, not great but good. The story is a bit weird if you try to follow it. Combat was probably my favorite thing to do, combos are easy to pull off and you feel some good power scaling as you progress. It's not a terribly difficult game, especially near the end. I think my one big complaint is that the character movement seems "marionette"-like, cheaply done. Other than that it's a decent game.
O game é bem dinâmico! Game play divertida, chefes legais. Embora não seja muito longo, vale muito a pena. Excelente game!
I do like the way the game play is and the story is okay but there is a emphasize on the girl boss and it is a bit in your face when females are talking to each other.
Juegazo en toda regla!!!! Su diseño de arte es hermosura pura
This was surprisingly very fun, a hidden gem for those that like metroidvania games. 8/10 a solid choice!
