Listen, it's solitaire... The gameplay revolves around cards stacking on top of each other, which is why it is annoying that none of the game's card styles include numbers on opposite corners. Cards occasionally stack without depth, too. There were many crashes and the winning outro bugged. It's solitaire with solid bonus mechanics and occasionally pretty art. There are better solitaire games to treat yourself to.
this game doesn't provide anything you won't find in other solitaire games, but the whole package is so well-put-together that it became one of my favorites of the genre. nicely drawn backgrounds and cards, pleasant music, 300 levels, a bunch of powerups and buildings to spend resources on, npcs showing up occasionbally between levels to have a little conversation, no technical issues to speak of, nothing to complain about really, though it'd be nice if the outro only played once, not every time after completing or even quitting the final level. sure, you might be all decked out (no pun intended) by the halfway point or so with a ton of money to buy as many wildcards and jokers as you want because there's nothing else to spend gold on, but obviously you don't have to, so the second half or final third of the game can still provide a challenge (mostly because of rng, as is typical). I didn't have major issues with the first game, typical solitaire offering, but this is an improvement in every possible way, definitely worth buying.
It's fun. It eats up time. Apparently I'm doing all right with it. It's pretty good.
This is my favorite solitaire game so far. Difficulty is just right. Cool story, and the side elements add to the fun without distracting. You can save progress anywhere, and restart levels to get them all perfect. Highly recommend!
Gutes Solitaire mit 300 Leveln, das in 2 Modi gespielt werden kann, wobei der normale durchaus hart genug sein kann. Das übliche Hochleveln und Entwickeln der Stadt. Nette Grafik. Good solitaire with 300 levels that can be played in 2 modes, where the normal one can be hard enough. The usual leveling and developing of the city. Nice graphics. Have some cookies with the game. S’more Sandwich Cookies Ingredients 3/4 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 large egg, room temperature 2 tablespoons 2% milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1-1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 20 squares) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 24 to 28 large marshmallows Directions In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in the egg, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° until golden brown, 8-10 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool. Place 4 cookies bottom side up on a microwave-safe plate; top each with a marshmallow. Microwave, uncovered, on high until marshmallows begin to puff, 10-15 seconds (do not overcook). Top each with another cookie. Repeat.
It is just a really nice solitaire game with 300 levels. Works fine on Linux with Proton (Proton 4.2-1).
truly one of the Avalon Legends Solitaire 2 of all time
STORIA: Carina. GAMEPLAY: Solitario. VOTO: 70/100
Developed and published by Anawiki Games, Avalon Legends Solitaire 2 transforms the familiar mechanics of solitaire into a fantasy adventure centered on restoring the legendary kingdom of Camelot. Set after a devastating goblin invasion, the game places players in the role of rebuilding a once-great realm by completing increasingly elaborate solitaire challenges. Rather than relying solely on card-clearing gameplay, it introduces a rewarding progression system that ties every completed level to the reconstruction of villages, castles, and magical landmarks. The Arthurian setting adds a pleasant layer of charm without overshadowing the relaxing nature of the core experience, making it easy to become invested in both the gameplay and the gradual rebirth of Avalon. The campaign offers an impressive collection of 300 handcrafted levels, providing plenty of content for both casual players and longtime fans of solitaire. Each stage follows the accessible one-card higher or lower rule, but the layouts steadily become more intricate, encouraging players to think several moves ahead instead of simply reacting to whatever card appears next. As the journey unfolds, new mechanics such as wild cards, blockers, special bonuses, and unique obstacles are introduced to keep the gameplay from becoming repetitive. The addition of two difficulty settings also allows newcomers to enjoy a forgiving experience while giving experienced players the opportunity to tackle more demanding puzzles that require careful planning and efficient use of every card. What distinguishes Avalon Legends Solitaire 2 from many other solitaire titles is its kingdom-building progression. Completing levels rewards valuable resources that can be invested in restoring over thirty different structures throughout Camelot. Each completed building contributes useful bonuses that improve future gameplay, creating a satisfying cycle where every puzzle solved feels meaningful. Alongside this system are twenty-four unlockable power-ups that can help overcome particularly challenging stages without completely removing the need for strategy. The steady accumulation of upgrades gives players a constant sense of advancement and makes the lengthy campaign feel rewarding from beginning to end. The presentation complements the gameplay well with vibrant fantasy-inspired artwork and an inviting visual style. The environments are colorful, the card designs remain easy to read, and the user interface is clean enough that players can focus entirely on planning their next move. The soundtrack features gentle orchestral melodies that reinforce the game's relaxing atmosphere, while subtle sound effects provide satisfying feedback without becoming distracting during extended play sessions. Technical performance is equally dependable, with smooth gameplay and low system requirements that allow it to run comfortably on a broad range of hardware. Although the game succeeds in delivering a polished solitaire adventure, a few shortcomings become noticeable during longer sessions. Because the overall structure remains faithful to traditional solitaire, some players may eventually find the repetition unavoidable despite the steady introduction of new mechanics. The progression system is engaging, but there are moments when favorable card draws have a greater impact on success than strategic decision-making. Fortunately, the available power-ups and kingdom upgrades help soften these occasional frustrations, ensuring that difficult stages rarely become discouraging roadblocks. Avalon Legends Solitaire 2 is an excellent example of how a classic card game can be expanded into a more engaging adventure without sacrificing its relaxing appeal. Its combination of hundreds of thoughtfully designed levels, meaningful progression, fantasy storytelling, and satisfying kingdom restoration creates an experience that offers far more depth than a standard solitaire collection. While it may not convert players who dislike the genre, fans of solitaire and casual strategy games will find plenty to enjoy in its generous amount of content, polished presentation, and rewarding gameplay loop.
