Project Cars 2 brought me to this game because I cant buy that anymore. Pity really but... on a much more positive note, I enjoy the immersion this game delivers. Good graphics, optimization is top and very good AI (best offline sim) and the driving feels nimble and engaging. Playing the game with a PS4 controller it's a good experience overall. (Gamepad players look no elsewhere ) recommend this sim to anyone who doesn't afford a wheel setup. It is more enjoyable than AC for sure! The base game offers plenty of content but there are also many DLC's to complete the overall experience. One pleasant point is that devs drop premium free stuff in the base game with each update and that a nice touch. Sadly, gone are the times when devs offered a complete game and maybe after a time, a couple of DLC's/Expansion The good thing about it is that everyone can buy what they like the most, Modern/Historical F1, GT, GT1, GT2, GT3 and other disciplines and have lots of fun. They are not so expensive when on sale if not really cheap compared to other sims and iRacing Banking system :) The not so good part is that the most of best cars and many popular tracks come as DLC. All in all this is what modern gaming marketing looks like everywhere and we will have to live with it... Recommend the game and also the DLC's because they are high quality, especially on a sale ;)

Eine Simulation mit sehr Abwechslungsreichen Autos und viel Umfang in Strecken. Macht mir sehr viel Spaß jeden Cent Wert. Hat eine tolle KI im Singleplayer, kann ich empfehlen.....
no offical moza wheel support
Not Recommended This game is a complete disappointment. The physics feel fake, with way too much drifting and unrealistic car behavior. Lap times and lap records don't feel believable at all. The AI and championship progression seem poorly balanced, making the whole career mode feel meaningless. Championships are repetitive, and there is little sense of achievement. Instead of rewarding skill, the game often feels frustrating and inconsistent. I expected a serious racing simulator, but what I got was an experience that feels unfinished and unrealistic. The handling is questionable, the records feel fake, and the overall gameplay becomes annoying rather than enjoyable. After many hours trying to enjoy it, I can't recommend it. There are better racing sims available that offer more realistic physics, better progression, and a more authentic motorsport experience.
Bulldozer AI
That was my least favorite racing game on PC in the past 12 months. It is not totally bad; the amount of content is solid, and some special effects are very good. The graphics and the AI are mostly okay. However, the AI is calculated using different, fake physics in comparison to your own car, the weather often bugs out, and the sound is unsatisfying. Ultimately, it fails with its driving physics. It is the only racing game I have played where acceleration, steering, braking, and even the sense of speed mostly feel wrong. (I know the settings very well and have tested many different configurations and games.) It never achieves that level of immersion where you could forget you are playing a video game. It always feels like driving plastic toy cars. I guess the overall quality is good enough to fool most kids, but I can't recommend this game to an experienced driver. The game is highly configurable in terms of car settings and is even historically correct, which helps make it look like a good simulation game at first, but the physics system is clearly placed in the simcade category. I tried very hard to like this game, but I can't enjoy it. If you lean even more toward arcade, I would rather recommend The Crew 2 because it offers a lot more content, is cheaper, and is much more fun. If you want to experience more realistic driving physics, I would instead recommend Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, RaceRoom, iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, or rFactor2. Even Assetto Corsa Evo and Project Motor Racing are better choices if you are fine with games under intense development. Tested in 4K, three times after updated physics overhauls. Version: 1.6.9.9.
I've plenty of hours on many sims. AC, ACC, iRacing, LMU and by far; AUTOMOBILISTA 2 offers you the best offline/single player experience of all, and here is where this Simulator is focused. If you are ok with a single player/offline experience, where you create your own championships and casual races, you'll have an amazing experience. Several categories and eras of racing while keep you glued to your cockpit seat. Vintage F1, GT1, Stock cars, F1 from the amazing V12 to the latest F1 hybrids(2025, not 26 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥), karts, GT3 and Hypercars, just name your poison because AMS 2 sure has it. Yes, newest content is a paid DLC but come on, if you can afford a direct drive, I'm sure you can spend $15 bucks on a DLC of your choice. Honestly, buy them all. AI still has some room to upgrade of course, but this title has the best AI so far. You can create WEC or IMSA scenarios with multiclass rolling start and things will go smooth. In terms of driving, I feel AMS 2 default setups are always on the "oversteery" side, but nothing that a few tweaks on the ARBs, bumpers and heights don't fix. In the end, it's a simulator, so go on track and test different car setups to go faster. FFB is solid and with some recommended settings found on Overtake.GG you're good to go. I've seen some people negative review bombing (with less than an hour of gameplay) because they can't make their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Moza bases to work, but I know people that doesn't have that issue. So it's either a troll review or a lacking of knowledge and research, because the wheel config it's pretty straight forward on almost every sim and social media it's flooded with tutorial on almost every subject, so my guess is people nowadays are lazy and stupid. If you have certain experience on racing sims, and are a bit tired of the online toxic behavior and people, just grab this title. Much love to the brazilian guys that made this possible.
I was a big fan since Petrobras, but what they delivered here with AMS 2 is a disgrace. so beware, you are not buying a game, you buy a vehicle for your new DLC collection. ALL the cool stuff is locked behind DLC... just sayin
My biggest problem with this game after playing for around 200 hours is the lack of decent triple monitor support. I 'can' get it working but it takes too much effort each time in using 3rd party apps to work. This is a KNOWN ISSUE with AMS2 and the developers do nothing to resolve this issue. So, I switched to ACC and after about 100 hours of gameplay, it is such a pleasure to open the game and the darn thing 'just works' on triples right away. So I'm sticking with ACC going forward. BOTH excellent games, but if you want seamless triple monitor support when you launch the game, go with ACC
