AudioTheory Guitars

This is a pretty nifty program. I've only played around with it for a few hours but see some major possibilities. I like that you can change the guitar tuning. Something, I've been planning on learning. It shows the chords with different tuning or with the capo placement. Great if you are using something like ChordPro to change the pitch of a song, this would be great to help you transpose it. Note: I have it working on my SteamDeck, the only problem is to exit the program on the SteamDeck you have to enter the "Steam" button and kill the program. Regardless, it works well with Proton.

Good visual aid to map the fretboard. It clicks in your mind better than random charts you can search for online for some reason(at least for me). But there's a feature that either doesn't exist or I can't find it, like showing a type of chord in all their positions in a specified key. e.g. Couldn't find a feature to show only major 7th chords and their positions in C. But you can just apply theory and use the chart visuals to build the chords all over the neck. Probably better that way if you're learning theory anyway. Great for initial theory conceptualization if you're starting out, but you'll have to learn outside of this software for more advanced concepts.

Very handy for figuring out tabs to obscure songs or new releases. Left-handed mode is really appreciated as well. Just wish there was an option to be able to add more chords into the associated tab.

This is definitely more geared towards beginners. It's good for what it is, it's a nice reference tool, especially for teaching, but there are a lot of chords missing. Still a decent reference tool and for the price can't complain.
