A good strategy game for new strategy players and experienced ones. Combat is easy to understand and maps are well made. There are not a lot of scenarios in the campaign, but each battle can be different, with the AI changing how it approaches battles. It can be simplistic sometimes in the heat of battle, throwing units at you without thought of recovery. Also the movements and scenario deployment controls could use a little work.
Great game that is easy to learn and fun to play.
If you have an interest in the North African campaign and are seeking a quality game, Attack at Dawn North Africa is an excellent choice. Contrary to my expectations, I found it was not overly difficult to learn. You can use NATO counters or you can actually use the units. Ensuring clear supply lines and effective supply management are vital, a crucial aspect that, although not challenging, is essential, as it was during the North African campaign. In my opinion, Rommel's overextended supply lines likely contributed to his defeat. The game allows you to plan attacks, moves, and logistics, then execute them, with the option to speed up or slow down time. The game features highly accurate maps and equipment, mirroring the historical battles. The units allocated are also accurate, reflecting the seesaw nature of the conflict. The game begins with preset units on the map, and you can move, supply, and manage them, ensuring that supply lines remain clear, as disruptions can impact supply delivery. You can opt for real-time or turn-based gameplay or Wego, so you can play however you feel most comfortable. The graphics are done really well; I absolutely love the maps. The maps are very accurate, and they're very well done. Also, the history on each of the maps and the battles are very accurate and done very in-depth. The sound is okay; the music can be a bit repetitive, but you can turn it off. But if you like the North African campaign and you like World War II, then this one here is definitely one you would want to pick up. I highly recommend it; it was way better than I anticipated. 8/10
marvellous strategy game
Good hex and counter wargame. It is a step above a beer and pretzel game, but not as insane as a Grigsby game. Well worth the price.
Great rts for when i dont wanna think too hard, and just wanna chill but and command ya know? this is technically my first hex game, and i dig it. its more abt placing the right unit in front of the right enemy and keeping supply lines etc.instead of skirmish tactics of taking buildings and hiding tanks in bushes and all that. i dig it. to be fair i got it for 12 bucks on sale, but i could see myself giving 30 for it. id be hard pressed lol but its worth it
Nice litte Game. Easy to play.
更喜欢回合制的。。。这个的回合制是拿即时拆的,别的都还行
