Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Шикарный платформер-метроидвания, рекомендую!

This game is criminally underrated. It's very fun and challenging. Took me about 7 hours to finish and get all the achievements. Bosses are pretty easy. Each boss has about three attack patterns. Once you learn the patterns, they go down easily. There isn't a lot of common enemy designs, but they make up for it by being unique, you won't encounter two enemies with the same attack pattern. Platforming is very hard and stays that way until the end. Thankfully, there is no need to replay the hardest sections. There are very few secrets and most of them are very easy to spot. Most of the secrets are treasure chests with money, which can be easily obtained from foes. You can also purchase an item that reveals all treasure chests in the map. The game has a couple of soulslike mechanics: Corpse runs and enemies respawning on save. So I wouldn't recommend the game if that's a turnoff. The only way to heal is at the save stations. Thankfully, there are a lot of them. You will rarely find yourself four map sections away from one.

Astronite, developed by Dume Games Studio and published by JanduSoft, is a strikingly minimalist yet demanding entry into the Metroidvania genre, built around a bold 1-bit visual presentation and a tightly interconnected world. From the moment you step onto the ruined planet of Neplea, the game makes its intentions clear: this is a focused, exploration-driven action platformer that values precision, tension, and methodical progression over hand-holding or spectacle. Its stark black-and-white aesthetic immediately sets it apart, evoking the spirit of early handheld titles while layering on modern map design and systemic depth. The heart of Astronite lies in its world design. The planet unfolds as a labyrinth of corridors, vertical shafts, hidden chambers, and interconnected regions that gradually open up as you acquire new abilities. True to Metroidvania tradition, progression is tied to movement upgrades and tools that allow you to revisit previously inaccessible areas. Double jumps, enhanced mobility options, and offensive improvements steadily transform the way you navigate the environment. Backtracking is not simply filler; it becomes a satisfying exercise in mastery as once-threatening zones feel manageable with your expanded skillset. Secrets are tucked into corners that reward attentive exploration, giving players a constant sense of curiosity and forward momentum. Combat in Astronite is deliberate and often unforgiving. Enemies are positioned in ways that test reflexes and patience, and encounters frequently demand careful timing rather than reckless aggression. The 1-bit art style, while simple at first glance, ensures clarity in combat scenarios, allowing players to quickly read attacks and patterns. Boss battles stand out as significant highlights, functioning as skill checks that force you to internalize movement mechanics and exploit openings. These confrontations can be intense and occasionally punishing, but overcoming them delivers a palpable sense of accomplishment that reinforces the game’s old-school philosophy. Difficulty is a defining characteristic of the experience. Astronite incorporates mechanics that heighten tension, such as losing collected currency upon death unless you successfully retrieve it. This system adds weight to exploration and encourages cautious advancement, but it can also lead to moments of frustration, particularly when paired with long stretches between safe points or challenging platforming segments. The balance between risk and reward is clearly intentional, designed to create stakes in every decision. Players who enjoy high-pressure exploration and methodical learning will likely appreciate this structure, while those seeking a more relaxed adventure may find it demanding. Platforming segments are tightly constructed and frequently intertwined with combat, creating rooms that test both movement precision and situational awareness. Environmental hazards and enemy placement often overlap, requiring quick adaptation. The level design emphasizes verticality, with many areas encouraging experimentation in how you approach obstacles. As your toolkit expands, traversal becomes more fluid and empowering, turning once-daunting sections into opportunities for speed and efficiency. This gradual shift from vulnerability to competence is one of the game’s most satisfying arcs. Presentation plays a crucial role in shaping the atmosphere. The monochromatic palette lends the world a stark, almost haunting tone, reinforcing the narrative premise of a devastated planet overtaken by hostile forces. Sound design is understated but effective, with subtle audio cues supporting exploration and combat without overwhelming the experience. The minimalist soundtrack complements the visual style, creating a focused and immersive environment that keeps attention squarely on gameplay. While Astronite may not boast the breadth of content or mechanical variety found in some larger-budget Metroidvanias, it compensates with tight design and a strong sense of identity. Its world feels cohesive, its challenges purposeful, and its progression satisfying for those willing to engage with its difficulty. The game’s relatively compact scope ensures that exploration remains dense rather than sprawling, with meaningful upgrades and hidden challenges encouraging completionist play. Ultimately, Astronite stands as a confident and stylistically bold indie Metroidvania that leans into challenge and classic design principles. It offers a focused adventure that rewards patience, exploration, and mechanical mastery. For players who appreciate retro-inspired aesthetics, demanding combat encounters, and carefully interconnected maps, it provides a compelling journey across the desolate landscape of Neplea. While its unforgiving mechanics may not appeal to everyone, those who embrace its design philosophy will find a satisfying and memorable experience shaped by tension, discovery, and steady progression. Rating: 7/10
