AstroForge shines with its incredible variety and depth in shipbuilding. With over 50 different hull variants and more than 100 installation options, the game offers immense freedom to design your own spacecraft. The customization possibilities are nearly endless, allowing you to tailor each ship to your play style. Whether you prefer a heavily armored battleship, a swift fighter, or a versatile freighter, AstroForge leaves no wishes unfulfilled. The open world of the Rubezh star cluster is another highlight. The ability to travel between more than 35 planets, encounter representatives from 15 factions, and 13 intelligent races opens up numerous interaction possibilities. The choice to trade, fight, or remain neutral is entirely in the player's hands. This freedom is present in both the single-player story campaign mode and the multiplayer mode, ensuring long-lasting motivation. The combat system is unique and tactically demanding. The fact that ships consist of various cells, each destructible individually, adds a new dimension to battles. The ability to drain the enemy's energy, destroy all turrets, or board the ship provides numerous strategic options and ensures varied combat scenarios. The Drawbacks: Despite these positive aspects, there are some points that hinder the immersion into the world of AstroForge. One particularly missing element is dynamic news about changes in the galaxy. While the political and economic systems of the Rubezh cluster are theoretically complex and interactive, they lack a lively portrayal of these changes. News about wars between factions, profitable trade routes, or the discovery of new resources on planets would greatly enrich the gaming experience. Such information could influence players' decisions and enhance the feeling of being part of a living, constantly changing world. Conclusion: AstroForge is an ambitious and deep game that excels in its versatility in shipbuilding and tactical combat system. The open world offers countless possibilities and motivates through its freedom and diversity. However, it leaves the feeling that the game could gain more vitality and depth with dynamic news and reports about developments in the galaxy. These additional pieces of information would make the immersion into the fascinating world of AstroForge even more intense and fulfilling. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME This game is an asset flip for quick money. This game has stolen assets from the game FTL (Faster Than Light) as well as stealing assets from well known mods from the game Star Sector. Do not reward such pathetic thievery with your hard earned money.
Alright, kill this game already. I played it for 2 days, outsmarted the mechanic through dodge, won every game, got banned from multiplayer games in panic from devs... wtf.
Great game. Not hard to figure out and addictive. I've been playing since the beta test. Developers are trying, regularly release updates.
MS Paint graphics and an awful interface.... not worth playing even if you get it for free.
This game is well worth the small sum of money it cost:) I find it very fun ... glad its not turnbased combat.... even it looked like that from screenshot. Else you fly around like in star valor... lots of modules and very fun tinkering around with them.. Good missions -- overall a very good game... hm i think i just copy past this and put it into review to, with a tumb up ! :)
bon petit jeu ..
