Astra And The New Constellation

It's *okay*, but it's very short and has nothing actually *good*. Would gently recommend it at the pricepoint "free" like "Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt", or "Moonring" - which are two better games that are free. Would not recommend this at any non-zero price, I would not feel good about having spent 50 cents on this.

Fun game with a speedrun sensibility while not forcing you to speedrun on your first playthrough. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun platforming challenge.

It's a fun little platformer, and surprisingly tricky at points! The graphics are great given the graphical restrictons of the pico-8! And I love that most levels introduce a new mechanic to keep the gameplay fresh!

Music is absolutely atrocious, the settings only allow you to switch the 2 key binds instead of remapping them, and there's too many moves mapped to the previously mentioned 2 keys. All in all, there's 4 moves; jump, slide, glide, and ground pound. A fifth would be the small jump which first requires the player to slide and then jump. The glide is poorly made as it not only slows the fall to an absolute crawl but immensely slows the horizontal movement speed as well, and the player also has to go into the settings to allow toggling glide instead of holding it down, which is not a fun experience while trying to use any other movement options. On top of that, It took me about an hour to finish this 100%, and I was barely trying. For roughly 5 dollars, this is not worth it. Save yourself multiple headaches. Also, precision platformer is a stretch considering how little precision is needed for most of the game.

Just a short, clean little platformer. Just be warned that, though I wouldn't quite call it "masocore', this is quite a bit harder than you'd expect given how cute it is. There's an option to remove (some?) hazards, though.
