Travel Through Unfamiliar WorldsExplore a vast, dangerous, yet beautiful world. Broken up through multiple chapters, join the protagonist and Karon, his talking bird companion, as they confront time and fate.
Slashing, Smashing, thrusting countless enemies while building up stamina for powerful Possession Skills, which are enough to melt away anything that blocks your way, including huge bosses that could take half, or even more of the screen. Fight aggressively while thinking strategically, always pick up the most trust worthy equipment, and select the best suited skills to deal with ever changing circumstances.
Battle ferocious bosses throughout the story, each with their own set of attacks and challenges. Upgrading abilities and acquiring new skills are vital to finishing each battle and progressing through the protagonist’s story.
A warrior mastered ranged combat with bows and throwing knives? A mage smashing enemies with staffs and cast magic at the same time? Play it in your way. Gathering experience to level up, collecting force to grow up, forging and mastering equipment to open up more tactical options.
14 years in development and more than 1 year for revision, award-winning indie developer KEIZO gave his all into this work. The plot keeps twisting as characters growing in an ever expanding world; Classic themes like time travel and tons of spoilers are all custom-made with the developer's own style. In ASTLIBRA, Story elements are often made into game mechanics, for example, your soul-mate Karon is not just a sidekick to talk with.
With 6 difficulty options, all kinds of players can enjoy the combat system at their own pace, but no one can finish all those contents casually - even after you "beat" the game, the Postscript after Final Chapter will provide extra story, new adventure and fresh system, tapping the potential of skills, equipment, as well as your imagination.

神作
是一个好故事
Not over yet but I really do like this game...
1-6章算中等偏上,7-8章让这游戏升华了,尤其是第8章在未来东京街道配合bgm演出同时跳出活过的证明标题的时候,神。第八章就是神。

The experience is just stunning(no spoiler) I haven’t been engaged in a game‘s story for a long time now but this game just got me sunk into it. The story contains many foreshadowing and plot twist that it all makes sense, and everything comes around, I can’t say much without spoilers, you have to experience yourself. For the game mechanics, I think it’s alright. The battle system is really cool. You can go with many types of build suggest magic, and just normal attack. And it’s really fun to switch styles along the progression. However, it does require a little bit farming at around chapter 6, I played on maximum difficulty, the curve from chapter 0 to chapter 1 is really huge, the first boss is very hard, and the small minion enemy in chapter 2 is very hard also, but onward it’s kind of easy until I chapter 6, where you have to farm a little bit, it’s like around 45min, then you are basically set for the whole game, I think it’s reasonable and fine. The only thing I wanna somehow complain about is the puzzle and the treasures, they are either confusing or hides in obscure places, which is really hard if you don’t search online, but you will feel super rewarding if you solve yourself. I’ve heard players calling this a soft if you have to video game burnout, and that is absolutely the case. It really grants me back the passion to gaming. And I regret any second of me playing this game. The game is developed by a single person for 14 yrs and the content is just super worth it. Respect KEIZO overall 9.5/10 BGM 10/10 Story 9.5/10 Battle 8.5/10
