Hello Gamers, I bought this game directly because I llike the combination of the content. (Starcraft, Dota,...) It´s a great concept and also it looks great to play. This game has much potential to get better in the early access stage. Some things aren´t balanced now, so for example you can make your hero invisible and just destroy enemy base in 1 minute. Great... I try to mention all points now (+ pro / - contra): + the game search system is awesome, directly after starting AF it looks for matches without click for it. And if you wish you can accept or deny it. great system to safe time for player.# - you can´t choose at the moment if you want to play 1gg1 2gg2 3gg3 in this matchmaking, expect you make a seperated lobby + the graphic elements are awesome - sounds could be smoother, better and more quality, the music is a bit missing in my opinion - if you play with friends against bots, you don´t earn items or EXP, only if you play alone - the developer needs to make advertising for this game, there are no players online max was about 7 players + the build system is great and not to much. you can concentrate to fights and lane control but also have time for build colonies, great - the game needs more abilitys, more items, more ships !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! + much maps available, but i would prefer more items and more ships - the game feels not well balanced.... no true sight against invisibility (for example you can not build ships for detection or towers) invisible = 100% invisible .... to unbalanced for a moba - one of the biggest contra points so far: the unit controlling is not precise enough. sometimes your ship gets unselected for NO reason and move into it´s death. the cast system sometimes also kicks you of the selection. the movement while fighting feels unbalanced and not smooth + modules for upgrading your ship, menu playing for training, UI is great designed - some visual bugs appears with the "fog" for example or the movement lines -/+ you can earn EXP but you don´t have a Level for you ship or account, you level only ingame for the team (no singel level, it is team level) also it´s not so good visible how much exp is needed for next item or whatever... - you don´t know how to get ships, until you play a lot and then you can see you get it in item box - the attributes are not explained, what attribute does increase WHAT status ??? - the bots are not that intelligent - no steam invite function for friends (you need to give code to your friend, feels like OLD games) - ingame announcements are to less or unprecise (lanes, buildings, ...) - neutral enemys on lane do NOT attack your hero !?!?!?! + i like the team game thinking, your team has the same level ALWAYS and every player, also you all have the same colour but you also can steal ressources of your friend, I mean thats a great thing but i don´t think that online players will like this to stranger ppl - the zoom needs an optionsbutton for not fixed positions, i don´t like fixed zoom positions okay stop now.... there are much more things that could be better, easier to understand and also looking better. But it is early access and i bet there are coming much changes. I like the game very much also the concept and idea and i also enjoy the low price !!! it IS worth !!!!! 100% it needs much more players to get the development further. For now it needs more content and you can see that some elements are not implemented now (recycling of items & & & ...) Thanks for this game I look positive for the future and PLEASE do advertising on it and more items you can get. I played just ~6 hours and i am not sure if i can get anything new due abilitys. go go go :-) i also try to get more players for this game

Quite the unique gem amongst the indie games out in the market right now. It's worth the money in my opinion. The game is a moba-rts game that focuses on the customizability of your hero/commander unit. Because of that, there is a lot of customization available to the player. The stats of the different modules/equipment is randomly generated, so no 2 pieces are the same. Some items even act differently than how they are supposed to act, those items see more rare though (and I have yet to get one). The way you get new equipment/modules is by leveling up. You level up by playing matches and winning (or loose a lot). Once you level up you get a crate. Open the crate and let rng do it's thing (explained above). Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you aren't lucky. (I have gotten very unlucky recently, 4 of the same item, all which have terrible stats :P ). The devs also hold votes in the discord for what equipment/module to add, which is pretty cool. Overall, I recommend buying this game, it's quite fun and worthwhile.
Early Access Review
RTS trifft Moba!
Asteroid fight is much more of an RTS than a moba. Think Warcraft 3 with customizable spaceships instead of heroes. It may look rough around the edges, but I've seen a huge difference between players that really can play the game and those that just started. There is a high potential for competing with friends or strangers. Not to say that those who don't know the game very well can't have fun either. I am not very good at RTSes, but I love them. For people like me, this is a gem. A game in which you can decide that this game, you'll focus on learning the ship to ship combat. Next game, maybe try working on your macro skills, or try to do everything at once and hope your opponent is as scatterbrained as you are. I've only put 6 hours into the game at this point, but I'm pretty sure I logged at least 15 hours of discussion on strategies at this point. That goes to length to explain why I think this is a good strategy game. No bad strategy game will have me debate strategies with total strangers over long periods of time. Another good thing is that this game has replays. When I tried to play Homeworld Remaster, I had to just quit after my second game because I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, or how to improve. When I play a match of Asteroid Fight, I can just look at the replay and figure it out. It's such a simple thing, but it makes a difference. All of the modules you and your opponent can equip before a match add up to surprisingly in-depth micro combat. There is little as satisfying as teleporting behind an enemy right before a level 5 railgun bursts through your ship, EMP the bastard and launch point blank missiles at them while they're disabled.
Asteroid Fight is a new multiplayer RTS indie game with 3 vs 3 matches. The goal of the game is to destroy the enemies warp gate. Your main vessel, your commander, is powerful and can earn special perks. The commander will spawn at the beginning and re-spawn at your warp gate when it is destroyed. Your other vessels are built through asteroid colonisation and resource management. Once they are destroyed you need to make another. A great idea employed by the game is the grid system. The game play area has grids with gates to enter. The gates can be claimed just like a capture point in other games. If the enemy has already captured it you need to destroy it then move your command vessel over it until it is claimed by your faction. This makes the game more strategic and more fun. The first time you boot the game it takes you into a simple and effective tutorial. Future launches you are taken to what appears to be a single player match where you play the AI that also doubles as the main menu screen. I think your supposed to practice there while you wait for other players. I would have preferred it to be properly implemented into a single player mode by simply dropping the menu tabs but for some reason they haven't. It has very nice art/graphics and has been well made. I enjoyed my time playing it and recommend the title. A few people gathered together for a test and I was lucky enough to be invited so I could bring you this video of the game play. The game begins at 4:30 if you want to jump right to the action.... https://youtu.be/_Fg9Qiohmr8 Thanks for watching, please like, subscribe and comment.
This game is dead. 30 day average is 4 players, and current players is at 2. Don't bother installing as this game is supposed to focus on pvp content.
Good game indeed, this is like Starcraft but with low end graphics. Asteroid Fight Gameplay https://youtu.be/YN_7hxwiFfI
Im glad i didnt pay for this.. the AI is pretty bad and you can win every match with just teleporting through walls
