What can I say? This is a beautiful game all around! The art, the soundtrack, THE STORY - I loved it all! The message that this story has was carefully developed and delivered perfectly. Definitely a pull on the heart strings with this one! And Flippy... don't get me started! Not a negative, but definitely a heads up - there is a noticeable increase in the puzzle difficulty from early to late game. Chapters 1-3 were relatively easy, especially for people that play puzzle platformers a lot. However, Chapters 4 and 5 will most likely give you a challenge that you're not expecting. But then again, life is challenging and unexpected so it kind of falls in line with the whole story being told here. Also, this game is recommended to play on controller, which I did; however, there were some parts that I felt would have probably been easier on keyboard and mouse. Especially in Chapter 4 when I came across puzzles/areas were I needed to move/decide quickly. Overall thoughts: It was a great game with a great story/message, and I highly recommend! I think more developers should take note of the emotional aspect this game brought to it's players.
very cute (and sad), i love flippy
I love this charming puzzle platformer with beautiful cut scenes. The playable character Lily is so precious and the story is really interesting! The puzzles are genuinely pretty challenging, and they definitely increase in difficulty.
A puzzle game with a thought provoking story, sprinkled with lots of cinematic moments and cutscenes. There are moments in the game where you would just stop what you're doing and admire the scene in front of you. The music is incredible, and the art is very pretty. If you like games like Journey or Abzu, I would recommend checking this game out. The puzzle department is not slacking either, there are some moments where you genuinly have to stop and think for a while on how to complete it. The usage of the mechanics introduced to form more complex puzzles is very creative and out of the box. You'll need to use whatever you've learned from previous encounters well in order to clear the next puzzles. It's a genuinely fun exercise for the noggins Overall, a very well polished game that I would recommend.
I've never play puzzle game before but this is my first puzzle game I enjoyed so far, Love the soundtrack and art, and also hilarious turtle sound
A must play 2d indie game! Especially hand drawn art makes the world feels alive, I love the puzzle so far very unique and never seen before. I also love the subtle narrative and ambient sound. The little narrative moments + chill ambient sounds just hits different.. Perfect cozy video game if you want to play game while relaxing. Controller is a must (imo), feels way more intuitive than keyboard. Only cons I have so far is the UI placement during in game, after Lily spawns into new level then the camera slowly moves to other side you can see the tutorial text (like press X to jump, etc) it kind of spoiling
Simple yet fun experience,
bonzinho
