BLUMA

Bluma is a puzzle platformer that stands out for its gentle, heartwarming atmosphere. As an old man who’s spent countless hours on similar games, I find Bluma to be a true delight. You play as a magical chinchilla who doesn’t fight but grows and explores and meets new friends along the way. It’s the journey, not the destination. Building her own platforms with vines feels like real craftsmanship, and the physics-puzzles are smart without ever feeling cruel. Travel by gliding and bubble-hopping through four elemental realms, planting seeds in a greenhouse, and making friends along the way. It’s refreshing, peaceful, and generous in spirit with devilishly clever puzzles. And butterflies. This is a cozy, thoughtful adventure that’s just the sort of calm respite that one needs at the end of the day that pairs well with comfy pajamas and a dry martini.

First off, yes the game is just as cute and cozy as the trailer suggests. I have played through two of the worlds with my four year old so far, and we both love it! For me, the puzzles have been creative and challenging, while the platforming is fun with interesting mechanics, but not so difficult that it leads to frustration. I also appreciate how the game builds in complexity as you progress. It's satisfying to see how each mechanic can be used in different ways, and how many different types of puzzles there are. For the four year old, the sound effects, adorable graphics, silly characters, and colorful garden are all huge hits. We both recommend BLUMA to fans of cozy cute puzzle games, regardless of age or skill level!

Great game! Very cute art, nice chill music, clever puzzles and fun mechanics. Very polished. Definitely worth a try if like this kind of game.

The puzzles in the game are creative and just the right amount of challenge! I also let me kids play to challenge their problem solving and puzzle skills! One of my favorite parts that many may miss--the sound of this game is some pleasant and relaxing. From the music to the sounds with the animations to environment sounds, it add a layer that makes playing the game more enjoyable as well!

Cute graphics and music. The mechanics feel pretty good, especially some of the tricks you can do with the bow in midair feel very satisfying. The difficulty of the puzzles is well paced. You may have to stop and think for a few minutes and try a few times to get the timing and execution right, but it never feels unfair or frustrating.
