I played 18 hours of the campaign, got about half way through, I enjoyed it but I can't recommend it currently for the price of £14.49. (I got this game through my Humble Bundle subscription). The negative for me: You have to build certain tower types to counter certain enemies, which whilst is a common design in tower defence games, it doesn't feel balanced correctly to me, forcing your hand to build certain towers in certain locations which ultimately leads to a lack of flexibility and creativity - it feels like placing a predetermined path of towers which if i don't meet, i won't get perfect on for the mission (zero enemies entering the portal). Thinking a bit more on this, I think it's mostly due to the armour system - non armour penetrating towers vs armour may as well be non existent - perhaps if the devs tweaked this damage, it might allow more flexibility and creativity with the builds for players. For a fantasy game, I also feel it lacks a bit of character/narrative... feel like there is some low hanging fruit there to be introduced.
Buen juego para pasar un rato libre
Looks like there isn't any sort of persistent meta-progression. Embarrassing.
