First of all, the pixel animations are brilliantly done. They are lively & swift, great work there. The combination of the pixel art & the manga styled art panels during some special events or dialogue scenes is a great touch, adds a unique flair to the game when others would've not bothered. Honestly makes me wish this were an anime, it certainly has the makings of one. I, unfortunately, played this wrong. There're two difficulty modes, Easy & Normal. Easy is REALLY easy. Like "you-one-hit-kill-everything-and-can't-die" easy. In a way, I guess it makes sense, your character is meant to be strong, but the combat being so easy makes it feel unrewarding. If you're wanting an easy game that really is easy, this is a must. Can't say anything about the turn-based combat under Normal because I've not played it. Sometimes, the direction of what to do is unclear. For instance, if you best a certain enemy, you're sent to this spa & I was really confused. There was no Log Book or Quest Book or anything to tell me what I was there to do & the spa region's scouting mechanic was poor, I'm sorry to say. Your character can scout the vicinity "once a day", which reveals a new location for you to clear of AI enemies. (Will be honest, the AI enemies are very well done). It feels like it could've been a simple "go here, kill all this" quest, but it felt like it dragged on longer. The spa was okay, there was lots to do, characters to meet, but the mechanic of only scouting the region "once a day" just felt silly. The train was another moment where it was unclear what I was to do. The game told me nothing about which station to get off, it's Honeydew Station, I had to look that up; & that whole Silverlake thing I thought would've gone on longer after the Commander said I could be there for weeks or even years. Can't help but think this was all part of the demo, or is from the demo & was left in. All that aside, everything else about this is good. The combination of manga panels & pixel art style is outstandingly excellent, the turn-based combat, the characters are great, if a little stereotypical (though I'll be honest the sexism got a little annoying, but that can be toggled off). Akane is a fun badass character, Bot is a perfect companion cube. Will play this again one day on Normal difficulty.

Es un buen juego al que todavía le falta pulir su propio rumbo y su ritmo. Es inmersivamente hermoso, cautivador y envolvente; los elementos como la música, la ambientación e inclusive la caracterización en sus personajes generan algo en el jugador; hay un discurso sobre la IA, el futuro y la melancólica soledad. Respeto por conmoverme y hacerme ir en este corto pero grato viaje. Sin embargo, hay cosas que necesitan pulirse, redefinirse y darse su tiempo; un videojuego no puede sentirse abrupto porque también formaa parte de una serie de conexiones estéticas, donde esta búsqueda en algún lado debe concretarse. Quisiera seguir jugando con Akane y Bot, llegar a un cierre o al menos, hacia apoteosis que le haga justicia a todo el apartado artístico de esta obra. Recomiendo jugarlo, sí, por supuesto, aún con sus falencias.

A beatiful jrpg about a girl named Akane. The game isnt fully released and as a project in work has many flaws ( such as combat system - as such it isnt bad but the difficulty level drastically falls off in the second part of the game and is very hard in the beggining, visibility - the pixel graphic of the game isnt unique but is very beautiful and cozy but at times gets in the way and is horrible in the chibi form so that sometimes you cant even makeout where you can pass or where you cant and what you are even looking at, and obiviously the abrupt end - the moment you get into Akanes story and start wondering about many wonders of this world the game comes to the sudden and abrupt end and you are just left hanging wondering what heppened and why you didnt receive any answer at you numerous questions) And even after naming those cons I would recommend buying this gem and discovering it numerous secrets and beauties
