- mc said "you can't cancel me, i'm a fashion icon 💅" - silly and enjoyable plot - the characters have their own styles/looks - the challenges are easy and fun - combinations can get repetitive but there is still a good variety for a free game getting all the achievements took me about 2.7 hours, i def recommend this game if you want a nostalgic feel for dress up games
I'm going to go into deeper analysis below, but if you don't want to read all that, I'll sum it up: This is my favorite fashion game. It knows exactly wants to be, and does it excellently. It's got nice outfits, character writing that is delightfully Gen Z, and it understands the real appeal of this kind of game. It's also a short but complete experience for free, and doesn't try to graft weird microtransactions onto itself. ANALYSIS AHEAD! So this is a game about putting together outfits with the right combinations of stats, a la Love Nikki, but it overcomes the "quantified creativity" problem that these games tend to have by giving you a lot of leeway for meeting even the highest requirement. You're given just enough direction to guide your styling, but not expected to completely minmax, and as long as you beat the minimum score requirements you can dress up basically however. The outfits themselves are really nice, and while getting them doesn't involve some complex economy like a Style Savvy or Nikki do, I think that works to the game's benefit. You just pick someone to visit, pick an item of theirs out of a random selection, and repeat until it's time for the next challenge. The game's very low tension all around, less "Can I do it" and more "How do I want to do it." You even keep clothing items between runs with New Game+, and the second run through is just as fun as the first. However, I needed a third in order to unlock everything, and getting through that was significantly less fun. It was still fun getting to know all of these characters, though, it's a very refreshing kind of writing.

Honestly idk what I was expecting but it took "fashion" and gave it a story. A free game to spend a quick hour. It was fun, satisfying and well executed. Devs did an amazing job creating this game, definitely 10/10
Booted up Artificial Fashionista thinking it was just a dress-up simulator. It wasn’t. – Yes, I expected cute outfits… instead I created an abomination in neon green Crocs – Yes, I tried to design haute couture… instead I made something that looks like The Sims on crack – Yes, the game said “express yourself”… but apparently my self-expression is a war crime against fabric – Fashion show? More like jury of NPCs silently judging my soul – At one point I gave a model 12 hats at once and the game didn’t stop me – The soundtrack slaps harder than my failed sense of style Notes : 👗 Style : 2/10 (my model looks like a cursed IKEA catalogue) 💅 Confidence : 11/10 (she still struts like a queen) 🧵 Fabric physics : 10/10 (realistic enough to make me hate velvet) 😂 Accidental comedy : 100/10 Artificial Fashionista isn’t about fashion. It’s a psychological test to see how far you’ll go before crying at a sequin.
A fun way to spend a hour (2 hours if you want to get all achievements).
goated! hood classics!
cute
the children yearn for dress up games... cute artwork and i love how once you finish the story bit theres a sandbox version with additional challenges
tragic ending 10/10 its peak
