Artifice is a visually stunning game with its beautiful art and captivating music, creating an immersive experience. The strategic overwatch system adds depth, making for satisfying combos and encounters with challenging enemies right from the start. However, some players might find the gameplay a bit passive, with characters heavily relying on overwatch actions. There's a sense that victories are more due to AI mistakes than player strategy. Additionally, the mandatory movement of characters every turn, even in tight situations, could limit strategic choices. Despite these considerations, the game shows great potential. Looking forward to seeing the developers refine these aspects for an even more engaging experience as the game progresses toward its full release."
Such puzzles, much wow
This game is unlike other turn based games. It has strategy, planning, think ahead like chess and the combos you can do with heroes onboard is simply amazing. Once you get to know the power of combos and plotting the action, the game reaches to another level of fun. Also the animations and vfx are gorgeous.
Great game. Feels very polished for early access. It is kinda like chess with some fun mechanics on top, so it is entertaining. Good buy if you're into turn based strategy.
Stupid game with small fields and very counterintuitive interface. Absolute waste of my time and I regret spending a penny on this. I would of give it 0 out of 10 - that's how idiotic the rules, the maps, the characters, the inventory, the hero management and everything else you could imagine. A perfect example of how to NOT make a strategic turn-based game. Oh, did I mentioned that the campaign is nothing but a mere collection of challenges? Yeah, like don't let goblins pass your heroes or kill some beasts in 5 turns. Can't express my disappointment enough.
Pretty good so far
Необычный подход когда противники могут атаковать только при заходе в их зону контроля. Передвижение солдатов по заданному шаблону который у всех разный как в шахматах.
you can defeat boss. EZ
Great artwork, unique gameplay, but not my cup of tea. I don’t like the fact that you can not attack right away. The game plays like a low paced chess puzzle game. After defeating the first boss
Zaha’Ryn
, the game does not allow you to continue. Sure, it is EA, so I expect limited content and a bug here and there, but not being able to keep playing is where the line is drawn for me.
Decent game to scratch that tactical itch. Pretty short game with a good challenge. I can see myself playing this game one more time so the replay value is that great but some may disagree. I like the variety of champions. Biggest con is this bug with Zephry that causes the game to freeze.
