Arsene Lupin - Once a Thief

Fun and engaging story! The mindmap/investigation puzzles were a very nice idea although some of them and some of the other puzzles feel a bit random/bs. I'd suggest playing with a guide nearby for when you get stuck so you can enjoy the story and avoid the frustration!

Nice game, not too long. The characters are very charming and quite unique in their personalities. The puzzles are also nice and require examination of everything from different angles. As for the story I was not able to see the relationship between the events, in most cases it just felt like a series of unconnected events rather that a real story. The controls are a bit ackward at times and sometimes the logic of the mind map can be far fetched. I have enjoyed the game overall so I recommend it.

Das Spiel war ganz nett, man verliert aber wegen der eingeschränkten Handlungsmöglichkeiten schnell den Spaß. Hinweise können erst eingesammelt werden, wenn entsprechende vorherige Schritte in der vorgegebenen Reihenfolge erledigt wurden (bspw. werden diese dann nur kommentiert "Oh eine Flöte, die hab ich früher gespielt" nur um 30 min später eingesammelt werden zu müssen). Aufgrund der geraden Spielweise, wird manchmal auch nicht klar, welche der Aufgaben nun zuerst erledigt werden müssen, obwohl man schon 5 mal an Gegenständen für eine andere Aufgabe vorbeigelaufen ist, die aber jetzt noch nicht eingesammelt werden dürfen. Hat mir echt die Freude am Spiel geraubt, viel zu linear ohne eigene Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten.

not that great, but also not that awful the thing i REALLY liked was the story being accurate to "arsène lupin, gentleman thief" (but with some changes, of course), i think they did a great job in adapting it into a game! but other than the story i feel like the game is a bit lacking... ≈8 hours is too short for a game that costs 30 dollars. (and even IF it was longer it would be way too repetitive because the game ALREADY IS repetitive!) both gameplay and controls could be better, especially the gameplay because it gets really annoying to walk around all the map for 2 or 3 times looking for a clue, just for the "clue" to be a random unrelated observation on a item you already clicked twice buuuut because you didn't click on another item before clicking on it, arsène "the smartest guy on the room" lupin doesn't say the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing i needed him to say 20mins ago. i recommend it if you are either an arsène lupin fan (like me!), or if you just want to try a game that isn't too time consuming (also like me!), but remember to buy it on sale

Игра интересная. Арсен Люпен получился невероятно привлекательным и харизматичным персонажем, за которого было приятно играть, а наблюдать за его виртуозностью и изяществом было одно удовольствие. Загадки в основном не сложные, самое главное быть внимательным. Надеюсь, что когда-нибудь выйдет вторая часть, а пока пойду читать книгу.

Very casual point and click game.

The graphics are lovely, as is the story. The gameplay is mostly mind-map-solving and walking around, looking at things. Maybe a bit dull after the third time. However, very fun to play. Worth in a huge sale. 30€ for roughly ~8h of repetitive gameplay is a bit too much.

Franchement ! Ce n'est pas un jeu, c'est une bande dessinée. ? Vraiment déçue, de tout ce que ce (supposé jeu) comporte !!!
