Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

LOVE IT SO MUCH TO DO
AMS is a great idea and a refreshing variation on the thousands upon thousands of Motel games popping up lately. The painting mechanic is much better and less of a grind than the generally brilliant but abandoned Motel Manager Simulator. The graphics are nice looking, there's no doubt about that. Sadly, that's where the positives end. Within seconds of my first play, it was glitching by telling me to pick up rubbish that wasn't there. Hardly a great start. It quickly became apparent that there's something a bit, well, soulless about this game. It should be the opposite! Another annoyance is the use of American English. This was a chance to get away from everything having to be centered around the US. I'm going to refund but I might come back for another look in a year or so when the bugs have been ironed out.

LOVE this game so much. It's got such a satisfying gameplay loop. It runs great, looks great. I love the character designs. I like everything about this game. I'm so happy I found it. It sounds silly but it's helping me through a rough patch! If you like hotel sim games with a bit extra this one is more than worth the money.
So far so good. It has a lot of challenges and actually takes time to complete. Definitely a game that has hours of entertainment.
Arctic Motel Simulator is a first-person business management simulation developed and published by One Slice of Pizza Games that transports players to one of the most unforgiving yet visually captivating environments imaginable: the Arctic wilderness. Instead of building a resort in a tropical paradise or managing a bustling city hotel, you are tasked with turning a modest roadside motel in a frozen frontier into a profitable and reputable destination. The premise alone gives the game a distinct identity within the crowded simulator genre, and it uses its harsh setting not merely as aesthetic flavor but as a central gameplay mechanic that influences nearly every decision you make. You begin with a small, run-down property that barely functions as a proper lodging facility. Rooms are basic, income is limited, and the Arctic climate constantly threatens operational stability. From this humble starting point, the core gameplay loop revolves around expansion, renovation, and strategic diversification. Players can construct and customize multiple types of rooms, tailoring them to different guest expectations and pricing tiers. As your motel grows, additional revenue streams open up, including small retail shops, restaurants serving regional dishes, laundry services, RV parking areas, and even igloo rentals during appropriate seasons. The layering of these systems creates a satisfying progression arc, as every successful investment translates into increased traffic, improved reputation, and greater complexity in management. What sets Arctic Motel Simulator apart is its integration of environmental simulation into business strategy. The Arctic setting is not static; seasons change, temperatures fluctuate, and weather patterns impact daily operations. In winter, heating systems become critical expenses, and ensuring guest comfort requires proper insulation and energy management. During milder periods, humidity and maintenance concerns arise. Certain activities, like RV or igloo rentals, are viable only during specific times of the year, forcing players to anticipate seasonal demand and plan accordingly. This cyclical rhythm adds realism and keeps gameplay from feeling repetitive, as priorities shift throughout the in-game calendar. The game also incorporates survival-adjacent mechanics that broaden its scope beyond traditional hospitality management. Hunting during legal seasons allows players to gather resources that can be used in crafting or culinary offerings, tying wilderness exploration directly into the motel’s economic ecosystem. These excursions break up routine administrative tasks and reinforce the sense that you are operating in a remote, living world rather than a self-contained economic sandbox. Random events—such as customer disputes, inspections, unexpected visitors, or regulatory checks—introduce unpredictability and require quick decision-making. These dynamic occurrences prevent the game from settling into a purely formulaic cycle of build-and-profit repetition. Staff management becomes increasingly important as your motel evolves into a larger operation. Hiring employees to handle cleaning, front desk duties, cooking, and maintenance allows you to delegate responsibilities, but it also introduces payroll expenses and efficiency considerations. Training and assigning staff strategically can significantly affect customer satisfaction and operational flow. This adds another layer of depth for players who enjoy micromanagement and optimization, transforming the experience from simple property expansion into a more intricate balancing act between revenue, cost control, and workforce morale. Visually, Arctic Motel Simulator leans into its environmental identity with expansive snowy landscapes, shimmering northern lights, and moody weather effects that shift throughout the day and across seasons. The first-person perspective enhances immersion, letting you physically walk through your motel, inspect rooms, and step outside into the cold wilderness. While not pushing cutting-edge graphical boundaries, the presentation effectively captures the stark beauty and isolation of the Arctic. Interiors gradually reflect your upgrades, reinforcing a tangible sense of progress as your once-basic motel transforms into a bustling northern retreat. Pacing is one of the game’s more interesting qualities. Growth is deliberate rather than instantaneous, and success requires patience and thoughtful reinvestment. Players who enjoy gradual empire-building and hands-on involvement will likely find the progression satisfying. However, those seeking fast-paced or highly automated management may find the slower tempo demanding. The depth of systems—from environmental control to side activities and event management—can feel overwhelming at first, but they ultimately contribute to a cohesive simulation that rewards careful planning. Overall, Arctic Motel Simulator offers a distinctive spin on the management genre by blending hospitality simulation with environmental survival elements and seasonal strategy. Its Arctic setting shapes both atmosphere and mechanics, ensuring that the location is more than cosmetic backdrop. The combination of room customization, service diversification, staff oversight, resource gathering, and random events creates a layered and immersive gameplay loop. For players who appreciate detailed management systems and enjoy building something substantial from modest beginnings, it provides a rewarding and atmospheric experience. While its niche premise and deliberate pacing may not appeal to everyone, it stands out as a creative and ambitious simulation that carves its own path within the genre. Rating: 8/10
