Very interesting concept, but, aside from the slippery surface not so implemented, I think that for the main levels it would be more thrilling and rythm-inducing an automatic change of rythm at every checkpoint instead of a manual trial and error or to be like the bonus levels without the imminent death putting pressure. P.s.: World 2 was for the most levels the best part

More of a puzzle platformer than rhythm game. Camera angle is clunky and movement sluggish but game works as advertised and is decently fun until later levels.
Arclight Beat Positives: + Cool concept + Nice graphics + Mostly good music and sounds + Easy/medium levels are quite fun + Nice platforming + Ok puzzles + Its free Negatives: - A times really frustrating to play - Sluggish controls (not good in a rythm game where milliseconds count) - Absolutetly not keyboard friendly (controller "optimized") - Mostly bad camera angles (could have been much better in third person with free view) - Some of the later levels are frustratingly hard and/or long - Bugs f.ex. functions suddenly not working (one bonus level is not finishable because of this) - It gets tiresome to listen to the same melody repeated over and over When I first started to play this game, I really enjoyed myself. I liked the puzzles, the platforming and the retro graphics. After a while the bad things started to get quite noticeable, and the fun disappeared. Some of the later levels are just frustratingly hard, especially when the controls are so sluggish together with the bad camera angles. The game needs a lot of polish, and some changes in gameplay to be up to its potential. If you got a controller, and only play the fun levels, you can have a good time for a short while. If you're like me, and want to finish all levels on your keyboard, just dont. Its not worth it. Total Score: 5/10
Gierka nawet git i przyjemna. Polecam
Not a bad concept for a platformer. I wouldn't call it Rhythm, it's more like a platformer with a 'while' loop. The spinning animation at the start of each level is a waste of time. The camera spinning around causes your movement to change direction because the directions are relative to the current camera frame. If you absolutely love platformers you may enjoy your time here. Otherwise, this needs a little more polish before it can be recommended.
