Classic issues: slow leveling at high diff levels, weak synergies abilities, and sluggish meta progression

Glad I took a chance on this. Very fun. Very similar to Vampire Survivors. I really like the retro graphics aesthetics. Can confirm this works on Steam Deck, no issues. Note: Cloud saves do not appear to sync with PC though :( Update: Playing the game more, it really does feel like the game is unfinished due to the limited upgrades, abilities and items. Technically the developer can abandon the game; however, if there was a choice, there are other titles that are more complete such as Halls of Torment, Death must Die, Vampire Survivors, or Deep Rock Galactic Survivors.

So I understand that this title had some glaring issues with bugs upon launch. Seems like the developer is quite dedicated to improving this game more and more. I haven't encountered a single bug. Dev, if you are reading this, I would encourage you to reach out to those that left a negative review and ask them to give your game another shot. I am really having a lot of fun with this survivor like game. For $4, you are getting hours upon hours of fun. I admit, I am a HUGE sucker for synergies in this game category, and man, are they are so incredibly satisfying. This game is still in its early stages and can definitely use a little more variety, but I'm very satisfied with its current state.

Good bones but the balancing is AWFUL

Les runs sont beaucoup trop longues et lentes... De plus le mode facile est beaucoup trop facile et est obligatoire pour s'essayer aux difficultés supérieures... Du coup en facile, une run de 20minutes semble interminable car beaucoup trop simple et on s'ennuie à mourir... Je me fais rembourser mais je rachèterai le jeu plus tard quand il y aura plus de mises à jours car le potentiel est là, à voir donc ^^ (La musique est cool ^^ )

I actually do quite enjoy this game. The pixel art style and variety of synergies make it quite enjoyable for what is otherwise quite a basic survivors-like. [strike]HOWEVER, there is a game-breaking bug that I keep running into that is why I can't currently recommend this game. If you enter into a portal during the boss-phase, when you exit it the boss will have disappeared from the map. The time will continue counting down but when it reaches 0, nothing happens. This forces you to quit out the map, registering the run as a defeat. Now currently you can simply avoid entering portals in the end-phase (they just offer some additional resources for completing) but the frustration if you do is very annoying as it ruins your run. [/strike] EDIT: this has been fixed, thank you! I would also caution potential purchasers that currently there are only two possible maps (selected at random at the beginning of a run), and I would also recommend the devs implement more gameplay settings, particularly spell effect transparency as towards the end of a run you can end up with a very busy screen! PS. I like that the enemies all have unique death animations, it's a nice touch!
