About
In ARC Raiders, gameplay flows between the surface ruled by lethal machines, and the vibrant underground society of Speranza. Craft, repair, and upgrade your gear in the safety of your own workshop, before venturing topside to scavenge the remnants of a devastated but beautiful world. Play solo or in parties up to three, navigating the constant threat of ARC's machines and the unpredictable choices of fellow survivors. In the end, only you decide what kind of Raider you are - and how far you’ll go to prevail.
Explore four distinct maps at launch, with more to be revealed as the underground society evolves and expands its reach. Each destination carries the weight of a world twice-destroyed, and the scars of conflicts both old and new. Sift through the remnants for valuable loot, and piece together the past as it's slowly reclaimed by nature. Evolving map conditions ensure that no two runs are the same, with varying weather, enemies, and mechanics adding unpredictability and danger.
In a society built on boldness and bravado, it is up to you to stake your claim as a Raider. The loot you scavenge can be sold for coin or crafted into all-new gear, allowing you take on increasingly lethal dangers head-on. Through both victories and hardships, you'll gain valuable experience; unlocking varied skills that enable all-new ways of play. In addition, you'll complete quests for Traders with differing motives and agendas; uncovering both the friction and comradery of a community under constant threat of collapse.
Lethal machines known as ARC rule the surface, ranging from unrelenting drone swarms to mechanical giants that obliterate everything in their path. Their origins remain a mystery, but their ever-present danger is felt with every step you take. Each machine comes with distinct strengths and tactics, forcing you to pinpoint their weak spots and constantly think on your feet. And remember: the noise of battle carries. Other Raiders may be listening; eager to claim what you leave behind.
Raiders survive by kitbashing scavenged materials; using long-lost tech and looted ARC parts to craft weapons, gadgets, and gear. Upgrade your workshop stations and learn blueprints to craft even more advanced items, or improvise quick fixes in the field to get yourself out of a bind. As you make a name for yourself, you'll be able to measure your skill against other Raiders by taking on Trials; rising through the leaderboards to earn valuable rewards.
In Speranza, everyone has an agenda, and the Traders are no different. They’ll send you topside on missions in exchange for rewards, slowly revealing more about who they are and what they want for Speranza’s future. Complete quests to earn gear, crafting materials, and XP to level up your Raider and unlock new skill points.
The ARC Raiders skill tree branches into three paths: Survival, Mobility, and Conditioning. Spend your points to shape your playstyle. Loot faster and move quieter with Survival skills. Outmaneuver your opponents and threats with Mobility. And enhance your Strength and Stamina with Conditioning. Choose how you grow and what your Raider brings to the battle.
Whether you’re preparing to take down specific ARC enemies or fend off rival Raiders, there's a choice of weaponry for every fight. Cater to your style with a range of firearms including SMGs, rifles and shotguns, as well as more advanced options such as railguns and energy weapons. Grenades, traps, ziplines and deployables offer the tactical depth needed to outsmart your enemies, while augments allow you to tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle; unlocking dedicated inventory slots and additional gameplay perks.

It was a great few months in 2025, what a shame.
This isn't an extraction shooter , just labeled wrong -- don't buy it if that's what you're looking for -- Buy Tarkov or BOA . I understand the negative rates and the positive rates , but what I don't understand are players crying about being shot in an Extraction Shooter genre .. it's absolutely amazing to me and really shows how this upcoming generation requires spoon fed lobbies , this is insane , I'm seeing people complain about wanting to hop on ARC to "relax" -- Do you know where you are ? What game you bought ? Wtf are these people even talking about ? This is an extraction SHOOTER .. this game is meant for the player to be on edge with every corner you turn , and we aren't turning the corner to hug someone , it's to shoot them down and loot their bodies , you want to relax ? Go play Roblox or some ♥♥♥♥ . You people complaining about being SHOT in a shooting game or being betrayed because you're easily fooled , need to find something else to play , yet I'm near certain they'll find something to complain doing that , as well ! This game went from "really fun" to , "for real ? Who plays Arc anymore ?" Way too fast..and you cry babies didn't help , and still don't -- This is why they make games for adults - which this is for adults - leave it to children to destroy what adults love lol -- I hope this game can make a comeback ! I went from playing nearly everyday to -- "Do I really want to hop on?" "I have better games I could enjoy" Don't get this review wrong , Embark has done a ton of great things with this game , from graphics , to mechanics , to the fun , little weapons and gadgets ! Fighting ARC is super fun , gun play has a "feel" to it--surely more of a "feel" with a controller , given MICE don't vibrate and all that mumbo jumbo ! Besides the incessant moaning and complaining about getting shot in a shooting game , there have been numerous reports of cheating , none that I've encountered, really , possibly once or twice . Dupers have been a huge thing as of late , but Embark said they fixed that ! I never believed in ABMM - we will really leave that up for debate . But what isn't up for debate is expecting everyone to be friendly , because you aren't skilled enough to fight your way out of the muck , or smart enough to not engage in a gun fight . People fear challenge these days and it's sad ..never be afraid to challenge yourself , you'll only thank yourself later . Ultimately , blame yourself for being too trusting of people you don't even know , shouldn't it be the other way around regardless if it's a video game or in person ? Blame yourself for buying a game you simply weren't ready for . Blame yourself for thinking Arc Raiders was going to hold your hand until the last second of extraction . It's always the people who ruin it , though , so ..I wish this game luck , because it'll need some !
This games concept is fun, the ability to talk to other players and actually communicate with them is amazing. meeting other players is fun and the shooting feels good. however the game itself lacks progression, it gets repetitive and frustrating as if you try something new and die thats hours of progress down the drain. like you just endlessly do quests you dont care about for loot that doesnt mean that much and run into players who might kill you or just say hi, its not bad, its boring.
This game was fun when the people were still a good part of it. nowadays it is now entirely about how well you can entertain yourself. There's limited customizability apart from color choices and not being able to mismatch outfit pieces, the things you'll spend weeks working towards can't be previewed and can only be seen through jpegs/pictures, and the people that are left still playing aren't as friendly anymore. If you expect to have a mix of experiences between PvPvE you're in for a disappointment. The only people left are those without mics, and rats. The few still trying to do big events or PvE challenges together tend to be the only people that are still filled with variety, but they also nowadays tend to just keep to themselves. As fun as it was, the lack of content and rewards for investing a ton of time or money just isn't worth it. I suggest playing other games.
Obvious cheaters in most games. Devs rarely ban and even when they do you won't receive your kit back.

I like the game overall, it's beautiful and I enjoy fighting arcs. I would say there are main two downsides to this game that make me want to quit. Firstly, I think it's really tedious to have to clean up your stash every time you play. It's really hard to tell what will be useful in the future. Like pillows for scrappy etc. The other thing is match making. I want to play PvE but it's really hard to do it if you constantly have to watch over your back for PvP players. I get that there is aggresion based match making but it doesn't work really well. I rarely attack other players, even if they attack me and still get thrown into PvP hell. It's quite annoying if all you want to do is learn how to fight bigger arcs but everytime you do it you get shot in the back. I get that there are a lot of PvP players but you should have dedicated servers for it. I will probably change my review and get back into it if the matchmaking gets better, right now it's too frustrating.
