About
In ARC Raiders, gameplay flows between the surface ruled by lethal machines, and the vibrant underground society of Speranza. Craft, repair, and upgrade your gear in the safety of your own workshop, before venturing topside to scavenge the remnants of a devastated but beautiful world. Play solo or in parties up to three, navigating the constant threat of ARC's machines and the unpredictable choices of fellow survivors. In the end, only you decide what kind of Raider you are - and how far you’ll go to prevail.
Explore four distinct maps at launch, with more to be revealed as the underground society evolves and expands its reach. Each destination carries the weight of a world twice-destroyed, and the scars of conflicts both old and new. Sift through the remnants for valuable loot, and piece together the past as it's slowly reclaimed by nature. Evolving map conditions ensure that no two runs are the same, with varying weather, enemies, and mechanics adding unpredictability and danger.
In a society built on boldness and bravado, it is up to you to stake your claim as a Raider. The loot you scavenge can be sold for coin or crafted into all-new gear, allowing you take on increasingly lethal dangers head-on. Through both victories and hardships, you'll gain valuable experience; unlocking varied skills that enable all-new ways of play. In addition, you'll complete quests for Traders with differing motives and agendas; uncovering both the friction and comradery of a community under constant threat of collapse.
Lethal machines known as ARC rule the surface, ranging from unrelenting drone swarms to mechanical giants that obliterate everything in their path. Their origins remain a mystery, but their ever-present danger is felt with every step you take. Each machine comes with distinct strengths and tactics, forcing you to pinpoint their weak spots and constantly think on your feet. And remember: the noise of battle carries. Other Raiders may be listening; eager to claim what you leave behind.
Raiders survive by kitbashing scavenged materials; using long-lost tech and looted ARC parts to craft weapons, gadgets, and gear. Upgrade your workshop stations and learn blueprints to craft even more advanced items, or improvise quick fixes in the field to get yourself out of a bind. As you make a name for yourself, you'll be able to measure your skill against other Raiders by taking on Trials; rising through the leaderboards to earn valuable rewards.
In Speranza, everyone has an agenda, and the Traders are no different. They’ll send you topside on missions in exchange for rewards, slowly revealing more about who they are and what they want for Speranza’s future. Complete quests to earn gear, crafting materials, and XP to level up your Raider and unlock new skill points.
The ARC Raiders skill tree branches into three paths: Survival, Mobility, and Conditioning. Spend your points to shape your playstyle. Loot faster and move quieter with Survival skills. Outmaneuver your opponents and threats with Mobility. And enhance your Strength and Stamina with Conditioning. Choose how you grow and what your Raider brings to the battle.
Whether you’re preparing to take down specific ARC enemies or fend off rival Raiders, there's a choice of weaponry for every fight. Cater to your style with a range of firearms including SMGs, rifles and shotguns, as well as more advanced options such as railguns and energy weapons. Grenades, traps, ziplines and deployables offer the tactical depth needed to outsmart your enemies, while augments allow you to tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle; unlocking dedicated inventory slots and additional gameplay perks.

This games concept is fun, the ability to talk to other players and actually communicate with them is amazing. meeting other players is fun and the shooting feels good. however the game itself lacks progression, it gets repetitive and frustrating as if you try something new and die thats hours of progress down the drain. like you just endlessly do quests you dont care about for loot that doesnt mean that much and run into players who might kill you or just say hi, its not bad, its boring.
**Not Recommended** I loaded up *ARC Raiders* expecting an extraction shooter. What I got was a PvE wildlife documentary where everyone politely takes turns shooting robots and acts like PvP is a federal crime. Every time I found another player, they either sprinted into the nearest bush or teamed up with the AI to make sure nobody had too much fun. The game has all the ingredients for an extraction shooter, then somehow forgot to add the extraction shooter. If your dream game is spending 45 minutes vacuuming up scrap metal just to lose it to a toaster with a machine gun, congratulations—you've found your forever home. I'll check back if the game ever decides that player-versus-player combat should involve... players.
This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥, no end game reward, the pvp and gun balancing is absolutly trash, cheaters on every game, no reward for pvp players. Waste of money, game was only good for a week
The game is unplayable at this point, every game that you get in ends with you getting killed by : A.Cheaters : people that literally shoots through solid walls, teleports in front of you, loot you and disappear . and no, you dont get back your loot most of the times B.Duppers or rtards that buy from them C. Rats (the most common): even in the most PVE room you will find at least 10 of this vermins, if not entire teams focused just on killing you without loot, they just want you to have a bad time. If its too late for me to get a refund, it is not too late for you to not buy it.
its a good fun game that where youcan make knew friends or just have fun
Since the introduction of the anti cheat tool, i get complete pc crashes. Not even just the game, my complete pc crashes hard, like multiple times till it works again. I work in IT, i can fix a pc. There is nothing to fix, my pc is completely fine until i open this ♥♥♥♥. The content gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with every patch. There was close to zero improvement. Why do i even play this ♥♥♥♥ anymore?
It's "fine". Movement is honestly great, gun play is decent, AI enemies can be fun when they don't just keep putting armor on everything/suicide bomb, and the people CAN be super awesome. That's where the good starts to unravel. At first, the game has decent progression, hunt for goodies, and the quests/weekly stuff can be fun. Then, as you reset for those bonuses, the game sours like old milk. You get hit with the same quests, a slightly different expedition tree, hopefully a decent new event, and some change for putting your best foot forward in your previous life. Then you get to do it again. Then you get to do it again. Then you get to do it again but they screwed up your gun/preferred equipment or some other part of the game. Its repetition and grind that can be fun with friends until some cheater comes in while your trying to work on a anything and lasers you down. You reset you decide to fight back, but its not really worth it. You decided to go to friendly lobbies, some other shmuck that could kill a decent player kills you there while everyone is then either scared to be put into aggressive lobbies or the whole lobby goes murdery. So it doesn't matter. None of it. Cause the moment you can't play or even think about playing something else, you can't get the actual progression, you just get to fizzle out and get left behind. As for cosmetics, they are at best "neat" if not just boring trash monsters. I've played long enough for cheaters, rats, care-bear, epic moments, silly tactics, and fun. But the fun that this game will provide you in the long term is either your personal level of masochism, or the people in your games. And when those people cheat, I'm not talking about just pvp, but bee line and laser you down. They ruin an average game. And worse, if you bring friends, you better be geared up for murder and tense situations. Cause the bigger the party, the less brain cells enter the game. I want this game to be good, it has the DNA for something great. But the cheating, lack of non-repetitive content, and just general fumbling between sticking to their guns and listening to fans on what they think they want. I cannot recommend this game, not anymore. Go play meccha chameleon, burglin gnomes, or super battle golf if you want something todo with your friends. If you want to play on your own, cheat, deal with or become that which annoys you, or you just really gotta spend your money. Then I guess there are worse things to buy.
Don't trust anyone the community sucks.
This isn't an extraction shooter , just labeled wrong -- don't buy it if that's what you're looking for -- Buy Tarkov or BOA . I understand the negative rates and the positive rates , but what I don't understand are players crying about being shot in an Extraction Shooter genre .. it's absolutely amazing to me and really shows how this upcoming generation requires spoon fed lobbies , this is insane , I'm seeing people complain about wanting to hop on ARC to "relax" -- Do you know where you are ? What game you bought ? Wtf are these people even talking about ? This is an extraction SHOOTER .. this game is meant for the player to be on edge with every corner you turn , and we aren't turning the corner to hug someone , it's to shoot them down and loot their bodies , you want to relax ? Go play Roblox or some ♥♥♥♥ . You people complaining about being SHOT in a shooting game or being betrayed because you're easily fooled , need to find something else to play , yet I'm near certain they'll find something to complain doing that , as well ! This game went from "really fun" to , "for real ? Who plays Arc anymore ?" Way too fast..and you cry babies didn't help , and still don't -- This is why they make games for adults - which this is for adults - leave it to children to destroy what adults love lol -- I hope this game can make a comeback ! I went from playing nearly everyday to -- "Do I really want to hop on?" "I have better games I could enjoy" Don't get this review wrong , Embark has done a ton of great things with this game , from graphics , to mechanics , to the fun , little weapons and gadgets ! Fighting ARC is super fun , gun play has a "feel" to it--surely more of a "feel" with a controller , given MICE don't vibrate and all that mumbo jumbo ! Besides the incessant moaning and complaining about getting shot in a shooting game , there have been numerous reports of cheating , none that I've encountered, really , possibly once or twice . Dupers have been a huge thing as of late , but Embark said they fixed that ! I never believed in ABMM - we will really leave that up for debate . But what isn't up for debate is expecting everyone to be friendly , because you aren't skilled enough to fight your way out of the muck , or smart enough to not engage in a gun fight . People fear challenge these days and it's sad ..never be afraid to challenge yourself , you'll only thank yourself later . Ultimately , blame yourself for being too trusting of people you don't even know , shouldn't it be the other way around regardless if it's a video game or in person ? Blame yourself for buying a game you simply weren't ready for . Blame yourself for thinking Arc Raiders was going to hold your hand until the last second of extraction . It's always the people who ruin it , though , so ..I wish this game luck , because it'll need some !
