I bought this game on a whim. It's a pretty casual game, close to clicker-style gameplay. You basically click on fish to buy, click on coins / gems to spend on more fish or tools to save them. For example, you click on the target to be able to bring down bombs or traps to save your fish. You have to click on the targets. You have to feed the fish as well. The gameplay can get hectic at times, but it's still pretty casual. The visuals / animations are nice. This is better than a fish screensaver.

Love the game!!. I personally know the developer, he is a truly talented guy, I am so excited for him! Animations, ambient, music all is amazing!
When I first encountered this indie game the first thing that came to my mind when seeing pictures and looking at development videos is it reminds of "Insaniquarium". For those who don't know, it is a game from over twenty years ago where you feed fish and protect them from "crazy" threats with the help with some animal friends. (Available on Steam as well) The premise of Aquarium Travels and Insaniquarium are generally the same, but the former does have some noticeable differences. I won't give too much detail likely because it is easy to see that so much effort was put into it, from the graphics, the straight forward story, and the killer music. The most noteworthy to me is that the threats in each level will keep on coming until you finish it like, you'll never know what will happen next, it can be pretty adrenaline pumping in my opinion. However with all these great things, I can't help but feel it could have been so much more. With nine main levels and six special levels, it is indeed a short game with most of the replay value being getting the good ending and getting all the stars in each level. At the same time I feel like I want give the creator some credit for all the pluses since it is a well polished and beautiful experience and I do hope writing this will help give it more attention.
