good game!
Appetite for Detestation, taş bir heykelden uyanmış bir canavarın rolünü üstlendiğiniz bir ters-korku aksiyon platform oyunudur. Açlığınızı kutsal kanla doyurmak için kiliseye giden Viktorya dönemi kurgusal şehir konumlarından rastgele oluşturulmuş bir seçimle kana susamış bir saldırıya başlayın.
Full play through here!: https://youtu.be/oae3w5fOXSQ There's a lot to like about this game it really felt to me like a small Rampage instead of being able to break buildings and eat citizens you just eat citizens and kill them with some neat powers. I like that the powers are varied by play through, but some of them just seem to not work i.e. the hate or the baby demon also the wings say they're z key but for me it was definitely space keying 3x. The boss is pretty dang difficult because he has auto aim and you have very little maneuverability it's very much a base race between you and him. The enemies seem to have collision priority as well which feels wonky and makes it feel like your getting pushed around and your melee attack has the weirdest hit box interactions. It definitely has it's flaws, but I enjoyed it for the short game it is.
Downloading might take longer than playing the game. -- Basically a browser game with okay graphics -- Pro: - Great concept - Free - No bugs Contra: - Controls and animations need much improvement - No gore - Very short
https://youtu.be/jaP9H9kh1JM So you've read the description and now you're down here in the comments trying to figure out what's it all about. Click the video above to see some of the gameplay, mechanic and hear my thoughts on the game. Appetite for Detestation is a 3D beat'em up set in the Victorian era where you get to play as the monster reeking havoc on the citizens in order to satiate your blood thirst. After reading that description I am sure you are, like I was, hype to jump into the game and get to slaying. Well, let's talk about the positives of the game first. The music is probably the best part of the game. It's eerie, inviting and sets the mood for a monster of the time. The environments are also well designed; plenty of destructive pieces and platforming to be had in each level. Now the negatives of the game; Ultimately the game isn't that fun to play. When you think of playing as a monster, you mind is filled with all these images of blood and gore. Well there is blood, a small mist cloud sprays each time you eat your victim. You would expect your powerful monster attacks to send blood spraying with each blow you land on your poor victims, but unfortunately your monster attacks aren't that powerful. You look like you're trying to hug your victims when attacking or maybe you're doing some sweet dance moves and they just pass out from how awesome they are. You'll be spamming your mouse clicks on your victims because they take anywhere from one to 100 clicks to kill them as they are running all over the place. Speaking of all over the place, the physics in this game seem to come and go as they please. The bodies sometimes get sent to the moon upon death, other times the sink into the ground and everything in between. I found objects hitting me sometimes sent me into the sky unexpectedly. Overall, this game needs more polish before it can be enjoyable for me. Even though it is free, there are currently better options out there at the moment for games. Maybe it is your kind of thing, maybe it is not. I just cannot recommend it at this point.
It an interesting game and it all right to play; considering it is free to play. It's a bit clunky to play, so if you don't mind that it passes the time. It is neither good or bad. Review at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smHEsxh6YNU
