Game needs some polish but for an free game its ok
My hornet god, this is not even a game. Just a student homework for Unity engine, nothing work, so I just dropped under map.

Indie shooter in the style of Lovecraftian horror. The player, together with the bounty hunter, must destroy the infection that arrived on Earth from space! Pros:

+ Great styling
+ Availability: the game is free Minuses:
- Optimization
- Too frisky mouse even with the minimum sensitivity value
General: The usual linear shooter in the style of Lovecraft stories. The player destroys a variety of opponents with a small arsenal of weapons. Unfortunately, the game is not optimized and constantly freezes. The mouse sensitivity is turned up to the maximum, but even if you reduce it to the very minimum, it still twitches very strongly. There are bugs in which the hero's hand with a weapon appears on the player's screen - obscuring everything around. At the moment I do not recommend this game. It needs to be improved!
This game looked like it had some potential, only to end up being complete ♥♥♥♥ due to unfathomably poor levels of polish. I have nothing good to say about this game, so I’m just gonna present all of the biggest issues in bullet format:

Poor performance. The game froze on startup, every time a new enemy damaged me for the first time, every time I used a new weapon for the first time, and during every level transition.
Enemies can walk and attack through through various objects, walls, doors, and even the floor, or just get stuck on them entirely.
If you ever fall through the floor, there is no way to respawn and the game has no level select, forcing you to start all over again.
Punching is meant to restore health, but putting aside the issues of a massive cooldown and short attack range, it either doesn’t restore any health at all or it restores so little that it’s not worth risking melee combat.
When you die, the game respawns you with just enough ammo for one mag, depending on which weapon you had equipped. This is a bug, not a feature. It makes progression almost impossible, especially during the final level in which victory is kill-based, not objective-based. You do get a knife, but it’s the slowest, most useless weapon I think I’ve ever used in any video game ever, and I wasn’t able to get a single kill with it. Having said that, it’s easy enough to cheat in ammo, and giving myself an infinite amount increased my enjoyment tenfold. Even then, I was still prone to bugs, the most incessant one randomly breaking my gun so I’d have to switch weapons. And no, this wasn’t a result of the cheating, it happened beforehand as well.
The story, music, and UI all suck ass.

Due to all of these issues, it took almost an hour to complete what should’ve been no longer than a half hour experience. After the three short levels this game has to offer, I returned to the menu to find that I couldn’t even leave the game because there was no way to select any of the menu buttons. One last ‘♥♥♥♥ you’ before I exited the game forever. I think this concept could’ve had better execution on something like the Build engine, that way 3D models and sprites could both be implemented to get a similar style without relying on crappy shader options, but in the end, the level of success is entirely dependant on the effort put in by the devs. In this case, it wasn’t anywhere near enough.
Bu FPS oyununda, malikanedeki yolsuzluğu yok etme görevinde ödül avcısı Cassius'a katılın. Dikkatli olun, garip canavarlar Cassius'un hedefine ulaşmasını engellemeye kararlı.
Cosmic Purge is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. In this case instead of low quality, we have the other problem with student projects... this isn't really a full game, you can finish it in less than half an hour. Basically teasing gamers with something that might have been, but isn't. Why is that good for gamers? Oh yeah, it's not. This was made for the students, not for you. That's a problem. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
If there was a choice for a "maybe" I'd choose that. Pros: It has cool assets and story building. I really like the cutscene art. Cons: Hard games are good, but only when polished. You respawn without ammo which kinda screws you over after a long run when you respawn with nothing. The melee ability takes a full minute to charge after a single use. Enemies are also kinda annoying to fight, but maybe that's just a personal issue. Another little thing is that it seems a really heavy HDR filter was applied and it would work in a lesser amount, but it just seems really overkill and messes with some of the scenery.
