Apocalypse Truck Simulator

Apocalypse Truck Simulator is a surprisingly solid off-road challenge built by a single developer, and you can really feel the passion behind it. The top-down perspective works great for the style of gameplay—tight, unforgiving runs where every mistake matters. The trucks all handle differently, the physics feel weighty, and the shifting/downshifting adds a nice layer of realism. The post-apocalyptic setting is simple but unique, and the mission structure keeps things moving without any pointless grinding. You unlock trucks and bonus levels at a steady pace, and the difficulty has that familiar “just one more try” loop. It’s not a huge game and it doesn’t try to be, but for something made entirely by one person, it’s genuinely impressive. If you enjoy SnowRunner-style, slow, methodical driving challenges—or just want to support a dedicated indie dev—this is absolutely worth a look.

Fun game! The Steam videos above show the old camera movement, it no longer functions that way so motion sickness is not an issue. It presents a good amount of challenge and the visuals are nice. I'd say it's priced just right. I am curious if it will run on the Steam deck.

A guy on YouTube said it was a mix of Mad Max, Trials, and Mudrunner and I have to commend that description! It also happens to feel like a group project where the person in charge of user experience never bothered to show up. The menus and general quality of life are laughably basic, but it's sitting on top of the bones of what could be a really cool game. The vehicle art is neat, it's too bad we can't get close enough to see it. And the acrophobic heights would be all the more dramatic with something akin to a first person view. As it stands the game sort of gets in its own way, but with a little bit of polish I can see this being a very fun time.

Extreme hard dificult, not fun at all. Same truck, with diferent cargos, may be, in the extras ( locked ), will have more. There is no middle save progress, if you fail, you have to start from the begining, again, again and again, very boring. The controls need fixes, they don't have the precision that you need, the route is full of obstacles, rocks, holes, levels and are very narrow. Brake and back gear is the same key, if you press a litlle more time, you are back in to abysm. I love to play games for the fun, not for STRESS. 4/10. ps. sorry my bad English.

Editing my review, I had an issue with the camera spinning endlessly. It appears there was a conflict in inputs from my sim wheel, which was making the camera spin. So if you have a sim wheel, unplug it. So far, it feels like a solid game. It does feel very bare-bones, but for the price, if you like games like snow runner/mud runner, and just want another chill game where you can drive around across rough terrain, you'll likely enjoy this. Will update my review once I have more time in-game, but so far, it's a good little game

NIce litte offroad game, can recomend. Achivements would be great.

i'm gonna give it a thumbs up because it's a good price and i love to see some innovation in the offroading category, but i have some issues, the camera movement is really awkward for me, having inverted up down options would be great, and being able to move the camera naturally is important in a game like this so you can see where all of your tires are. Also the lack of volume options is a bit annoying. Hope this gets fixed in the future, but other than that a cool game.

Cool game, good truck physics with a chilled out post apocalyptic atmosphere...looking forward to updates!

Я в такие игры бесплатно играл на планшете. Лет 10 назад. Сейчас за это просят денег. Выглядит как альфа. Весьма сомнительно. Ещё и тормозит. Обновлений уже месяц нет. В настоящий момент не рекомендую.
