About This Game
Apocalypse Factory is an automation and factory-building game set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies.
You’re one of the few survivors sent to the surface to mine, craft, and build production lines that supply vital resources needed to construct your ultimate Escape Ark.
Build complex automated factories, power them with electricity, and deliver everything your Escape Ark requires — all while defending your machines from constant zombie threats above ground.
Build and automate complex production lines to craft essential items and resources
Explore and expand across a large, dangerous map
Mine dozens of resources and process them into advanced materials
Construct a wide variety of machines, structures, and power systems
Set up electrical networks using wind power and other generators
Defend your factories against relentless zombie hordes
Research technologies to unlock new automation and defense tools
Apocalypse Factory is already fully playable, but I want to refine it together with the community.
Player feedback will help improve balance, automation flow, and overall polish.
The game will continue to grow through small updates and quality-of-life improvements before its full release.

My review after the first 2 hours I've played the game so far: Pretty much any game with "factory" or "crafter" in its name ends up on my wishlist initially. However after looking further into this one, I was pretty excited about it releasing...checks all my interest boxes for sure. After playing through the tutorial and continuing to work the progression past that, i clocked 2.1 hrs of gameplay upon purchase. During that two hours the game ran uninterrupted and smoothly, no bugs no crashes. It seems the core gameplay is mostly in place beginning to end, though I could certainly see it being fleshed out more. That core gameplay is a very fun factory builder, some cool choices made by the dev in terms of implementation. As it goes, the bones are solid. Any roughness around the edges is to be found in the UI/UX. There are several I would assume to be about hotfix level QoL changes that would help immensely (rotate buildings for one, I know they're mostly square so far so rotation doesn't technically matter, but still. Conveyor belt pathing is a bit wonky, and doesn't handle corners well. And a few others. Nitpick level stuff (to me at least, others are always free to disagree). None of which are fatal by any means. Overall- Very impressed with the condition/content of the game at release, especially since I would have expected to pay probably double what it is actually priced at. Solo devs always sell themselves short, an impulse I understand well. If the dev is active and incorporates feedback (which seems to hold in solo dev games in my experience), this game will be quite the hit in a short time. A "buy without even blinking" at the current (and slated full) price. This will be a fun one to see develop. To dev- feel free to contact me on here if you want more notes, I hate discord with a fiery passion.

I’ve been testing Apocalypse Factory for over a year now, working pretty closely alongside the developer, and the progress has been huge. Seriously, if you saw this game a year ago, you wouldn’t recognise it today. Yes, the game is in Early Access right now, and it feels like it, but in the right way. The game is not broken or messy, but it does have some growing to do (as with any EA game). The big thing here is the developer. He is one of those rare ones who actually listens to feedback, and keeps improving things instead of disappearing after launch. 🎮 The game itself strikes a really nice balance. It starts off relaxed where you can lay down your base, and get your little production empire humming without stress. It’s almost peaceful… until it absolutely isn’t. The moment you break through that first fence, the game flips the switch. Zombies start rolling in, in waves, and suddenly your cosy factory becomes a fortress under siege. It’s a really fun shift to go from a calm base builder to an intense waved based, tactical defence game. And just once you think you have those waves under control… the game casually reminds you there are more islands waiting. More land. More enemies. More problems. More fun. There’s a really satisfying loop here once it clicks. Mining, building, optimising, defending, then realising your setup could be better and reworking the whole thing again. It’s dangerously fun in the “I'll just add one more tweak over here” kind of way. A couple of small tips that made a big difference for me: double up your factories early, two for iron, two for copper, two for fuel. It saves you a lot of pain later. And research windmills as soon as you can, they change everything. Also, dragging the red connectors across two side-by-side conveyor belts is one of those small things that feels weirdly good once you start using it properly. Visually, AF is a really solid mix of automation, base building, and defence, and it’s still heading upward. If this is where it’s at now, I’m genuinely keen to see where it lands after future updates.
Ideal para control de oleadas y gestión, me encanta!
This game is fun but has a little bit of difficulty to it. It starts off on the harder side on trying to learn things and then keeps a challenge through out as you try to mindfully place things. I did enjoy this game as it kept me thinking. Only thing that could make the conveyor belts better is a way to make them over lap so u don't have to go a long ways out of your way to get product to other things.
The game is perfect for those who enjoy a low poly style and atmospheric worlds, but don’t really want to deal with intense horror. There are zombies here, but they’re not scary enough to make you stop playing. It strikes a great balance between light tension and comfortable gameplay. For me personally, it’s the perfect choice, because I love games like this, but I’m not a fan of heavy jump scares 😄
I been honored by the developers by offering a review key via #keymailer. We played more than 4hrs in row and my first impression was very very positive. The turorial not telling you much at this stage of development but after 10-20 minutes i have been sucked in completly. Meaning wont want to stop playing. Tech tree isn that big or overwhelgly like Factoryo or Statisfactory but at the momment enough large to achive all in ~150-200hrs. Meaning: - The game has no gamebreaking bugs atm - Playable in peace of mind. - No pushing enemy system as Factorio has. - if you not bulind into zombie risk area you wont be attacked - You can watch your factory for hours for producing items in peace - Leap Technologies in your pace I havent tested the game in late game state meaning: I dont know how optimalized the game in longer gameplays or big factorys all over the map. Devs: keep.up the good work! This is an enjoable time to spend in the factory building games genre! Recommended! ❤️
