SO FUGIN GOOD
豪丸
A truly lovely souls-like that really stands out for being a fair bit simpler than others of its genre, but no less challenging or brutal, especially in the latter half. With gorgeous graphics, great gameplay, and a genuinely unique setting that takes cues from Spongebob and Finding Nemo, it's well worth a play!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

aggro crab gets it. they get the level design, the combat, the worldbuilding. age of microplastics is their replacement for the age of fire analogy from the original dark souls, and it's brilliant. i love seeing the way indie devs take the pieces fromsoft laid out and reinterpreting them. magic is tied to armor laying around, meaning you have multiple offensive and defensive options in any given encounter. the heartkelp that you can harvest means you aren't always reliant on resting to refill your healing. i've seen the reviews complaining about the game's imperfections. it has them. every fromsoft game has its truly ♥♥♥♥ moments. but aggro crab gets it, and if you're looking for a solid, unique soulslike experience, you'll get it here.

This game is great! Is it baby's first souls like, hell yeah. But that doesn't mean its bad, let alone not difficult. GAMEPLAY: Its a souls like, with dodge Rolling, parrying, a simple level system, bonfires, and challenging enemies that ask you to think on the spot and a few you'll be dying to often. But what makes it different is the various shells that you can wear during your time playing that each have their own health pool and their own magic ability that can use in battle. So it spices up the combat more then just hitting the same button, and praying you don't get hit. You also get a grappling hook that doubles as an effective tool in combat, the grappling only allows you to do grapple actions at grapple points but its fun for traversal when its allowed. Theres a ton of platforming as well, with some interesting challenges sprinkled in. EXPLORATION: All areas of the game which there are roughly 7 areas in the game that all allow for a whole host of exploration be it from your grapple hook, or two of your adaptions that you get later in the game the game really begins to open up once you get passed a certain point and its well worth getting out there and exploring the various different regions the game has to offer. From finding secrets like little stowaways that can help you on your journey, to more umami crystals that'll help you in your skill trees and upgrades, to stainless relics that'll allow you to upgrade your fork its very very much worth exploring. Not to mention the whole host of fun Dialog and silly secrets the devs threw in as well as references to other media, like Among us, Going Under, Pizza tower, and other little Easter eggs that are sprinkled around the map BOSSES: NO SPOILERS Early game when you dont have your full kit I did have trouble with most of the bosses, being unable to use magic and or level up fully I did have a rough time, but the minute I upgraded the skill tree and actually beat an optional boss and got his adaption I was able to basically steamroll a lot of them by sinking a ton of Microplastics into magic. Most bosses that can be poise broken can be cheesed using magic and that's not really a bad thing but it was underwhelming for some bosses, so if you want a more challenging experience don't spec crazily into magic, otherwise the bosses where really fun and actually did give me a run for my money when they where able to. STORY: NO SPOILERS This game has a very simple story premise where it follows Krill the main character just wanting to get his home back before it explodes into a massive adventure exploring the deep recesses of the ocean. with a really fun cast of characters the game explores this simple concept and the rest of it really well. The games funny, serious, and sad when it needs to be and i welcome it whole hardedly ACHIEVEMENTS: Overall not bad. Most if not all the achievements are either story/boss related and the ones that aren't are just collectable based and if you explored like I did you can get it all done in your first playthrough. even the Boss rush achievement didn't give me a hard time, so much so that i went through and did all the ones that where currently avalible to me at the time getting all extra costumes and stuff, it was well worth it. The only ones that could be considered an issue are the new game plus ones however, most of those can be done really really quick if you just give krill a gun, and speedrun to the point you can actually unlock those items. So overall nothing crazy if you don't wanna play ng+ like I did. Otherwise if you're actually going for a proper ng+ run good luck. Overall the game is great, and i highly highly recomend anyone who wants to get into the souls genre and doesnt want to commit to a proper souls game to try this one, and even veterans of the genre would probably get a kick out of this even if its a little bit on the easier side. 10/10 Very easy reccomend Aggro Crab makes some good stuff, id say worth buying at full price if you have the cash, otherwise no shame in waiting for a sale
