Interesting little game. The story kinda reminds me of the movie "Edge of Tomorrow". It feels like a visual novel but with actual movement and a bit of sneaking/avoiding mechanics. There are a few problems I have with this game. They aren't deal breaking but are still kinda noticable and sometimes annoying: - When moving close to walls the movement sometimes randomly slows down and it feels like the pathfinding is trying to avoid something - The menus (especially the settings menu) still feel kinda unfinished. Everything works, but there are still default Unity graphics in there. - The audio balancing is kinda off. This is especially noticable with the car in the beginning - The writing feels awkward at some places, sometimes it feels like the main character is speaking with his mom instead of his wife. And also I highly doubht Husband and Wife would just shake hands like they dont really know each other when agreeing on what to do in the evening. Besides that it was fun to also get to know the other side characters. None of those are "essential" to the story, but they give the world some life. Also the story feels like it just stops right after the start and this is supposed to be just a prologue to the actual game. All in all an interesting experience, if you want to complete all achievements you can probably do that in just a few hours.
Short but nice game. had fun playing it ^^ Good vibe and great dialog, with a few hidden interactions (HINT: step on the tv table and talk to Naomi) But there are also a few tiny problems, that don't impact gameplay much - Taikis movement can be a bit strange, and the view angle can hide where I want to go - I skipped some dialog trying to read through the log, as clicking anywhere on screen progresses the dialog - I then wanted to rebind 'next dialoge' to spacebar, but noticed that I can only change Movement & Interactions together. One bigger problem was, that I got stuck in a diaolog and couldn't progress in my first save. * I then instantly got the good ending in my second run ^^ Still, overall I would recommend playing it if you got some time and money to spare ^^ * was fixed by developer (see comment)
Not a perfectly polished big title, but comes with a captivating story and does an awesome job of immersing you in its small world. Definitely not for everyone, but if you are into interactive stories and don't mind a bit of goofiness, the $5 are well spent.
Had fun playing this game :) I have to applaud the scenery of this game! The vibe is nice and it's a good game to play as it's not very challenging but it still gets you in a story and exploration mood. The references to popular culture are funny (one of them is even an achievement) and dialogue is well-written too. Overall it's a great first game for a small indie studio, well done! :)
A pleasant and very atmospheric game) Its biggest drawback is its short duration. The story, although simple, is heartwarming. There are some graphical bugs (especially with vegetation), but the models themselves are good, as is the lighting along with a pleasant color scheme.
Cool little game! I love the Japanese style and the enemy design. Only thing I missed was a UI close button for the inventory. And I had a bug once, where the enemies kept walking backwards.
Great Game! Surprisingly immersive due to the great music and writing, sadly a little bit short.
good game, i can take the high ground and assert dominance upon my wife
The game is very good. Music and the environment are insane!
This game is literally incredible. All of the characters have so much heart put into them, even if they're just in the background. This game feels like it should be so much more popular than it actually is, and I really hope it gets big one day because its just that good.
