Very retro challenge with some fun level design made to test your reaction speed and jump coordination. Graphics and sound are perfect for what the game's goal is art wise. This genuinely does feel just like an old school NES platformer in the same vein as Mega Man, although with the AVGN aesthetic and humor slapped all over the game. I personally played through the game on Hard mode on my first playthrough. Very difficult challenge but certainly not unfair by any means. Overall: This game is for you if you are an AVGN fan or a fan of retro NES platforming games. or if you just want to play something a bit challenging.

Игра создана для фанатов ретро-игр и AVGN'a куча отсылок к другим играм и к самому шоу, челлендж имеется но не скажу что прям хардкорная. К последнему боссу если получится прийти с Konami Laser Scope и хотя бы 5-6 усилениями, то с турбо кнопкой можно просто стереть его в порошок не дойдя до 4 фазы атаки (а там пздц что происходит)

Me as a huge AVGN fan, I finally bought this piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Its fun, its challenging and the story is a chefs kiss. This is so good that MY DOG WANTED TO ♥♥♥♥ LIKE A FIRE HOSE AND PAINT MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WALL. Soundtrack is great. I never experienced NES style game and it was interesting. So fun like I WANT TO PUT MY BALLS IN A CROCODILES MOUTH, WHILE SHOVING MY HEAD UP A UNICORNS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! 10/10 Love you Nerd -Cooper

just like the first time i played shovel knight it took me to the past and childhood memories short game but fun i wish they will make more avgn games
