Angry Ball VR

Fun Game! I've spent over an hour with this game and have to share that its growing on me. Think of this as a VR Angry Birds type game. The player is equipped with a slingshot and is decked against levels that require the right pieces to be hit in the correct sequence before running out of ammo. There are a few minor things I feel could be improved upon: 1) There is a cat "trainer" that introduces the the level strategy via text. As the player progresses from text screen to text screen there is a "meow" that becomes tedious after a bit. Any chance that can be changed to a more subtle bell or something? If a different sound is chosen, please make it a "soft" sound as some levels require a lot of reading and in turn "meow" a LOT. I get that the cat ties the lore together but maybe there is another way of doing the same thing. 2) Would love to see an option to quick turn via the joystick. (Im on a RIFT) This game can be played standing or sitting, but there are a few levels where the quick turn via joystick input could help with the level completion. 3) Just a suggestion - No need for the logo, or picture to move with head tracking when the game is loading. I am experiencing heavy juttering during the load screen. This is purely cosmetic and doesnt impact the gameplay as the game levels run very smooth. I really feel with a little polish this came could really go somewhere. The developers have a nice game here that I have enjoyed. The level with the bouncing boss and the spinning pyrmids of blocks is both challenging and fun. Nice job on creating some challenging levels. I'll play more soon! My Rift game library has several dozen games in it, but I haven't tried many of the real indie games. I'm enjoying the game and can feel very comfortable recommending for people to try. It looked like it was for kids so I didn’t really expect much in terms of gameplay but to my surprise, it got my palms sweaty! You basically use a slingshot to shoot down different blocks, and the levels and game mechanics are designed so that it’s fun for players of any age. I loved the way it felt - a unique rendition of the classic bow and arrow feel that people love in VR games (Feel that tension…). I personally liked the art style and the graphics were fantastic - no motion sickness! Enjoy this game!!

A good attempt at creating a casual, puzzle game genre. Clearly great thought has gone into the puzzle aspects, but for me, on the oculus rift, I felt it needed more polish. The graphics were indeed cute overload but the cat noises drove me to insanity. An excellent first foray into VR games development but ultimately just not that fun. It has the potential for satisfaction to be baked into the game mechanics but this hasn't been acted upon.
