Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its like me and my families on little mmo
Very interesting game. I was looking for a kind of MMORPG game but in 2D because I quite like that kind of concept. This game didn't fail at all. Actually, it's getting updates frequently! I've joined the discord and there's always something new happening. The devs listen to things, issues that might happen in-game, they interact. They communicate and they're attentive on anything going on. It's nice to see that. I see the discords community also very active. There's not much happening on the multiplayer scene since you can get mercs to substitute players, housing systems on servers are a thing that probably won't happen though for players wanting to buy a house, so get yours on single player (but it's very playable with other players as far as I know on a party, if you wish). This is something I'm enjoying and looking forward to see more. I paid this game on a discount but I'd pay twice the normal price just to help the devs more, really. Nice game! Looking forward to see more!

The targeting is an issue because when mobs die their loot supersedes the targeting when you are in the middle of a fight So you have to manually press your ability and have to move around and hope you get lucky with the targeting and movement to keep attacking the next enemy if it happens to be behind the one you just killed Another issue is the day/night cycle reducing your visibility, though I guess you could rest at the inn to keep it in the morning? daytime hardly seems to last long at all though. Pretty frustrating honestly and I uninstalled after a while Otherwise pretty charming, some of the starting areas make more sense and are better paced than others. Did not really play enough to say further.
The game is enjoyable both solo and with friends, and it's easy to lose track of time while exploring the world and chasing better loot. It has that nostalgic feeling without feeling outdated. One thing that stands out is how active the developer is. Bugs and player feedback are taken seriously, with frequent updates and fixes that show genuine care for the game. Games with this level of support and dedication usually keep getting better over time. If you're looking for a retro RPG with plenty of content and a developer who truly listens to the community, Ancient Kingdoms is definitely worth checking out.
Ancient Kingdoms does a great job capturing the feel of classic MMORPGs while still being enjoyable as a solo RPG.
I'm going to thumbs up because i'm overall enjoying the game. But dungeon mobs NEED to eventually de-agro. you could be fleeing a dungeon because there's a random enemies 15 levels higher than the rest and while you run every mob you run past follows you and they never stop. It was at the point where i had 30 plus mobs following close behind me while I try to navigate the overly long maze of tunnels to get to the entrance. Also please fix the magic animations. You just swing your magic staff as if it was a sword and the magic fires from 10 feet above your head instead of from the actual staff, it looks pretty rough.

felt very boring to me
despite many problems, noticeable improvement after communicating with the dev in steam discussion. this alone is enough of a reason to give it a thumb up. it is a game with great foundation. the only challenge left is for the dev to code those suggestions given in the discussion. one thing i disapprove is that the game is somewhat forced to stay on later stage of the game.
It's a nice simple game that would run on a potato but it's definately a throw back/tip of the hat to classics like Ultima, EQ, etc that some of us played back in the day. Still fun to play with friends and spend some time on.
