I mean, I laughed for quite a bit of my video but the game is terrible. The control scheme is shockingly bad. The graphics are...well, you can see. The voice lines are really stupid but pretty funny. Avoid. https://youtu.be/8vD37qPizXE
It's good for a quick laugh. The few voicelines and the way the gladiatrix dress is really funny. There's a variety of weapons to use but they all play pretty much the same, the gameplay is clunky and limited, a lot of the menu options bug out. Not worth. https://youtu.be/HkX3pdoElKA
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Asset Flip! "Senators Praetorians and Qualified Gladiators" (aka Ancient Gladiators, it's a bit of a red flag when the developer doesn't know what their game is called) is one of literally thousands of creatively bankrupt asset flips infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere.
The developer took a bunch of ancient gladiator assets, dumped them on a basic game template for PvP, couldn't work out how to finish the game, so pocketed all the money they scammed out of gamers in Early Access and walked away. Disgusting stuff, but we all know Early Access was a well intentioned disaster that's done more harm than good... case in point, this garbage, that never would have been inflicted on gamers otherwise. So, "Senators Praetorians and Qualified Gladiators" is partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Little, if anything in this game is the creation of the "developer". While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Senators Praetorians and Qualified Gladiators", and this kind of asset flipping never results in games that have quality or value for PC gamers. The developers haven't touched this for 5 months. It's deep in development hell and there's every likelihood this will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
I really hope this game gets updated. I mean, it's bad, but the idea behind the game is good, it's just like it's in a pre-alpha state right now. I'm going to give this game a chance and not get a refund. I hope it turnes out better. Things need to change: - Controls. It's way more complicated than it should be. - Animations. There are a lot of animation errors. Blurring the bad animation won't make it better. - Bugs. There are just a lot of them. - Graphics. Some of it is alright for an indie game, but very outdated. The people, especially the gladiatrix look very bad. The UI could use some work too. I read that the developert plan to add a campaign to the game, but I think they should focus on making the game work better first. It's much more important.
lowkey this ♥♥♥♥ is gas bro at first its kinda ASS but be a tiger ♥♥♥♥♥ and BRO that ♥♥♥♥♥ SHREDS 10/10
Best gladiator game ever. Animations are really really fast paced, amazing, a bit too much for my taste though, way too much. You can keep rolling like Sonic.
