Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & initial impressions here: https://youtu.be/4Lz3v0KUuUg This is art. If you enjoyed Blortasia then I think you will enjoy this experience. If you enjoy VR art, modern art, psychedelic art, then I'll think you'll enjoy this experience. If you don't, then this experience may not be for you. There is really no gameplay. It's really just enjoying the art. It's a pretty big art piece though. You can fly around a long time and still be running into new stuff. It's weird, it's trippy, it's meditative. As you fly around, you'll run into these "art creatures" that roam around that seemingly have artificial life. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps. You press trigger to fly in the direction you're looking & there is snap turn as well. No smooth turning unfortunately. I liked it for what it was. I enjoyed Blortasia so I knew what to expect. I did not disappoint. It has a similar art style to Blortasia, but the artistic artificial life creatures give this a different vibe. They'll even make sounds and you can press buttons to make them react as well. [b]Rate ?/10. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
English: Anandala by Kevin Mack is a psychedelic journey through a giant colorful blob in the sky. This short description basically says it all about this brightly colored experience. We wake up right at the beginning of our trip in the middle of the blob, so to speak. Everything around us is colorful and somehow in motion. The colored surfaces of the huge structure are constantly changing their patterns and here and there we encounter interesting creatures that can make different sounds just like us. Somehow we can even interact with them. Unfortunately, I didn't manage more than wild honking. But it was an enlightening encounter for both sides, I think. To avoid always having to cruise through the whole blob, there are also various portals that teleport us to other parts of the blob. However, it is also possible to simply fly through the walls of the blob, I don't know if that's what Kevin Mack had in mind. Not, as I initially expected, passively, as if on rails, we actively move through the world ourselves. If we press the grip button on the controller, we move in the direction in which the controller is pointing. Unfortunately, we can only turn by snapping, which quickly takes us out of the immersion. I haven't yet had a trip where I've turned in a jerky manner. The whole journey is accompanied by beautiful ambient music. Unfortunately, there is no menu or anything similar, so we can't make any settings and have to live with what Anandala offers. Interestingly, there is another game in Kevin Mack's portfolio, called Blortasia, that looks pretty much the same and is slightly cheaper. Since the experience works, it gets a thumbs up, a nice short trip for in between. Only an informative one in the short review due to the lack of a menu. 👀Of Blobs and Trips🎊on my curator page. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
Another beautiful Immersive Art & Sound experience from Kevin Mack. So much to explore and discover here (like hidden realms). You can even generate your own music/sound to communicating with the diverse array of entities, and things happen! Very cool. I encourage everyone who plays this, to take your time, there is a lot going on here and the generative materials are a wonder to watch all on their own. Kevin was instrumental in developing the "flight navigation" mechanic and this alone is a reason to try this - it is THE BEST mode of VR navigation there is. I high recommend that you sit in a swivel chair, use Air-Link, and enjoy the freedom of "surfing" this magical world. Thank you Kevin for making this available to the public.
Knapp an "Daumen runter" vorbeigeschrammt.
I loved Blortasia. Thanks for more!
Bello y extraño
How on earth do you get the controls to work? up and down? just seems to accelerate and snap turn either direction. refund requested.
It's like being an alien fish in an alien aquarium floating in some alien sky.
Anandala is a wonderful title with beautiful graphics. I won't try to sell you on it--if the trailer interests you, then pick it up. Although there's nothing really to DO in Anandala, it provides a calm, colorful environment where you can float with your thoughts and revel in the psychedelic beauty. I've been playing using a Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop and it works perfectly. Anandala is priced very well for what is on offer and I honestly have no complaints at all. If you like what you see in the trailer then I 100% recommend picking it up.
Whoa ! Awesome !
