An Eye for Optical Theory 1666 is a short point & click horror adventure game with a focus on atmosphere and narrative. It is the plague year of 1666 and Isaac Newton, in lockdown at his home, has been thinking on the topic of Optics, and planning a series of experiments. Will you help him?

I'll let you judge the game by one of the quotes Isaac Newton says: "'tis gay is it not?" FINAL RATING: 8 / 10 Also, watch credits all the way through. There is a little easter egg.
This was an enjoyably uncomfortable little game.
Same thing happened to me during lockdown. Would bring a tear to ol' Sir Clive <3
NEEDS MUST! I POKED THE EYE AND IT WAS MOST ILLUMINATING THANK YOU SIR ISAAC <3 xoxoxo <3
"It brings my great joy to contemplate small things" is a quote that now comes to mind whenever I look down a microscope Tremendous game, great fun from start to finish
Short, sweet, super gay
this made me feel things in places i shouldnt be feeling things. namely, my eyeballholes writhed uncomfortably. please play this game.
I've never written a review before, but this game is sorely in need of more love. A deviously complex skin-crawler than sneaks up on you in more ways than one. A great point-and-click experience that tells you exactly what it's about to do - explains the magic trick pretty explicitly - and still manages to wow you. And at this price? A steal!
Spectacular Synthesizer soundtrack, body horror, 15 minute play time, and educational! I love it so much
