Кажется самобытной, но очень уж примитивная и ограниченная игра с несерьёзной озвучкой и увеселительными репликами, которые можно сказать любому врагу без особого осмысления, так как битва всё-равно рано или поздно состоится. В игре нет возможности отдохнуть, починиться, когда нужно, продать или купить снаряжение, стрелы, хилки. Нельзя в любой момент прокачаться, только между уровнями. Ничего непонятно, нигде нет объяснений как играть или что делать. Уровни сделаны однотипно запутанными с одинаковыми заданиями найти 3-6 разбросанных по уровню вещей. Игра несбалансированная, забагованная и вылетает, в общем, худшая из всех Свитков, воистину адский опыт. Как играть в подземелья Даггерфола без всего остального. 1,5/5,0

So... Battlespire. I have actually beaten this game and I have to say that... it wasn't that bad. It was quite awful at times, yes, but it was... fine. Battlespire has a few good points to it. The music is very good, giving the game a very eerie atmosphere. Especially on the 5th Level! The lore is also very interesting, and so is the combat (at least on the first level...) Now... the bad. The game is ridiculously hard. You HAVE to make a custom class to prosper in Battlespire, and I myself found the HP and Magicka regen advantages crucial. The combat is definitely... subpar. Sometimes it can be quite fun, as when you hit something it feels MEATY like you actually hit it. You feel the impact. On the other, spellcasting enemies will absolutely DESTROY you. At some point enemies resist/reflect your spells and deal a load of damage in melee, so you HAVE to use a bow/a crossbow and arrows. Dark Seducers can go suck an egg. That being said, Battlespire is definitely overhated. If you, like me, wanted to play through and complete TES game, then sure. Go ahead. But please... for the love of Auri-El, use the UESP wiki and research what kind of class are you going to do. It really makes the difference.

I'm a huge fan of The ES series and always wanted to play this game, but never could get it to work with the CD. Thankfully the steam version is pretty playable even on a laptop with minor tweaking. As far as the gameplay, the mechanics are a little buggy and fighting difficulty is high. You're going to need to read up on character creation and maximize the allocation to health and the attributes you need for your build, thankfully there are some less valuable attributes and skills that can be minimized. An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire is an odd transition from the 2d Elder Scrolls games to the 3d games. Combining a 3d world with 2d animated sprites for characters. Beginning with TES2, 3 dimension environments had been first introduced which the transition would be concluded in redguard. Battlespire's gameplay consists of the classic Daggerfall combat system, the Iconic hack & slash gameplay. Battlespire is a dungeon crawler, linear progression based experience with an interesting story and lore, especially for an experimental spinoff game. Battlespire included a multi-player game mode which has shut down. Now being exclusively single player, Battlespire is sold on Steam for $6, a very cheap price for a solo fantasy dungeon crawler. Overall, besides it's 1997 graphics, Battlespire is a cheap and fun game that you should buy.

Easily the worst elder scrolls game

AN ELDER SCROLLS LEGEND: BATTKESPIRE - не был свидетелем зарождения серии, вошел в это великое приключение с пятой части! Покупал за гроши для коллекции игр по Древним Свиткам! Не уверен, что буду проходить игру в ее оригинальном виде, но в ремастер/ремейк поиграл бы с удовольствием! Если я вдруг, неожиданно, поиграю в эту игру или даже пройду, то обязательно напишу об этом!

I tried it full screen and it didn't work. Finally tried it in windowed mode and it worked and then I got killed immediately 3 times so I turned it off. Also controls are weird, but that's just 90's computer games for ya.

нет, нет и нет, эта ♥♥♥♥♥♥ точно не стоит потраченного времени, я уж думал что редгард кусок дерьма, но это превзошло все мои ожидания, лишнее доказательство того что беседка никогда и не умела делать игры
