From the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dear Esther comes a new first-person horrorgame that will drag you to the depths of greed, power and madness. It will bury its snout into your ribs and it will eat your heart.

Reviews
I had played the original Amnesia on my Xbox, a couple years back. It was horrifying. An experience I still reminisce about today. I had heard this game was much less well received, but. I found every bit of horror and amazement as I had found in the game previous. But at the same time, apples and oranges. This game gave me so much more, and had a story I enjoyed maybe even a little bit more than the dark descents. One day, when I work up the courage. I will replay it.
大大简化了前作系统,游戏难度大大降低,加上跟前作几乎没有的交集,这部像个外传。 但我觉得剧情还比较有意思,文风和机关场景设计还可以。单纯作为走路解谜模拟器的话,还是给个好评吧。

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Technical Issues. People complain about the game being too dark. The reality is that this game uses a "per level" shader for gamma. The result is that after setting gamma, you need to reset it each level. Since the gamma is actually a shader, this then causes stutters and swinging frame rates. Gameplay. People have called this a "walking simulator" - sadly this is true. I have not played the previous Amnesia game, but have plenty of experience of other titles. There is hardly any gameplay here - it is more of a (barely) interactive movie. There is almost no exploration or choice here, you are "funneled" to the next encouter - a door will be mysteriously locked until you do something, then you will be channeled to the next area. There are no puzzles, and with no invetory, you pick up thing and put thing in slot. The "thing" is often just in the next room. Gameplay also includes "hunt the pixel" - find the place to click to get event to happen. Plot. Unlike a game like say "The Medium" which some have also critized as a walking sim - the plot is very basic. You wake up with Amnesia and try to find the missing children. The plot is mostly expoused through a few audtio logs and some notes which you are channeld towards. Pretentious. The devs are trying to put metaphores in via the artworks, music and amiguity as to your mental state. It just comes accross as an overwrought mess, as if someone just clicked a bucket list of things a horror game should do. One good thing is the art direction. Some of the areas could look good, but this is ruined by their messed up "home brew" gamma and color settings - so in the end getting to a new areas is often met with the frustation of messed up visuals. Conclusion. Don't waste your time, there are so many better offerings. I spent 5-6 hours on this and felt done dirty and that I'd wasted my time.
The game is shorter than the first game. Mechanically poor. There is some strange 40 fps lock. atmosphere, music are good. story and setting are interesting. I would say it's 50/50, but i'll stay with a positive review.
This game is just a walking sim, but one with good atmosphere and a great story. Compared to dark descent and soma this game isn't as good, but mixed steam reviews I think is too low for this game.
Cannot start game. I can create a profile, but it won't appear in the profiles list so I can't load it.
The game keeps crashing during loading transitions, and do you want to know the funny thing? After re-launching the game the auto saves work, putting me to where I should be. So I could in theory slowly crawl my way to the end. Nah.
