AMID EVIL VR

Very fun to play. Plays like a true VR game with high speed movement, insane weapon swinging, shooting. Feels pretty OP the first few levels, but becomes more and more difficult with eacht level and realm you do. Every realm has it's own type of enemies that move and fight very differently. Very cool. Also doesn't need the highest specs PC, though some things might look slightly better if you do, it doesn't matter much. I love the colorfull retro style. It's very pleasing to the eyes.

Still can't get 100% secrets in the first level after 2 years of updates.

Played on Meta Quest 3 with minimal issues. Can't get further distance visuals (anything not near my position) to not look blurry -- but looking past that (pun not intended), it really is a rather fun action FPS in VR. Quite alike what I remember from the flat-screen version, everything is a lot quicker than in many native-VR shooters. Some levels are a little nausea-inducing as a result. Some minor problems like not being able to save in more than 1 save slot as the game doesn't let the user key in a different save name than the default "New Save"; and some in-game alien language signs not showing their translations on screen.

this game is perfect for vr i wish they would port the dlc but its still fantastic everything from the flatscreen translates perfectly to the vr port and its loads of fast paced violent action fun

Изначально я пробовал плоскую версию. И я дико блуждал на местных уровнях, хоть игра и привлекала внимание визуалом, или, например, уникальными врагами для каждого из миров. А потом я увидел, что она вышла в ВР. Тут у меня уже нет никаких проблем с ориентацией на уровнях, исследовать подобные локации в столь оригинальном визуале просто очень круто. Всё оружие имеет возможность как ближнего, так и дальнего боя, имеются все нужные настройки и моушен управление стрельбой (когда снаряд с твоего меча или булавы срывается при взмахе оружием). В целом это отличный порт, на отличный проект. Если вы любите старые шутеры, сыграйте обязательно. Единственное, что может быть причиной всё же избегать игры - если вас укачивает. Скорость у игры очень большая, бегать и прыгать придётся много, а ещё есть враги, которые притягивают вас при атаках и подвижные платформы. Так что игра только для опытных вр-игроков.

Fun, destructive, and amazing as this is... DO NOT play this game if you haven't gotten used to the motion issue VR has yet. This is a MOVEMENT shooter and there's no teleporting to move. There is snap turning, but that's it. Play a few levels at a time then stop for breaks so you don't get sick.
