Hey team, apologies for my negative comment i will change it once these issues are addressed: Cons: 1) The game starts with keyboard mode although im playing on steamdeck hooked to tv and Xbox & PS5 gamepads, even after i change the layout from within steamdeck to gamepad it also starts with keyboard and mouse but once i choose the stage it works fine with gamepads for some weird reasons 2) The game is not optimised and the menu feels heavy/slow on steamdeck. however ingame may feel slow later didnt do much testing. 3) Lack of stages/modes and customization of your own characters Pros: 1) The game is funny/fun to play with family and friends 2) No bugs encountered seems polished 3) innovative ideas and capture of gulf/middleeastren cultures 4) Price Even if you dont fix these issues , i will not refund the game to support the studio in such commpititve market. All the best and looking forward for more DLCs , fixes , updates to support you furthur.

Fun gameplay and cool characters

It’s such a fun party game! I really loved the characters, especially Um Rahal. The wave system is also very challenging, which makes it exciting to play. I love how competitive it gets when you play with friends and family! 🔥

I played this game with my friends and we enjoyed how many game mods and characters there are to choose from, it was great.

Found the game on sale and got it, after playing it for a little bit over 2 hours, I would have even paid the full price. I'll be honest, this is the first party game that I feel like I have total control over my character, it's very responsive and every second matters, while still being very simple and anyone can easily grasp the idea of the game. This game is simply hilarious, I still haven't played with friends, but I will surely do very soon and update my review again. I only have one note, although this game works without a controller, the experience is completely different when playing with a controller. Maybe add the ability to allow the player to choose his own input mapping.

Really interesting game would tell my friends about it so we can try to beat the wave mode!! reminds me of so many other games but with a twist I love it!! ALSO REACHED TO WAVE 18 It took me a while lmao

its pretty good value for money product! 5$ for local modes, online, and wave based ,co-op. its most fun when you play it with people you know! note to devs: please release an online version of the pirate wars!! i love it!
