Amelia's Escape

Unfortunately, this isn't the type of puzzle game that I normally enjoy. I'm more of a puzzle adventure guy. I like more narrative focused puzzle games. Games like Red Matter 1 or 2 or Ghost Town. This is more of a puzzle game with some story. However, it's like a room full of puzzles and you have to solve each one of them before you can move on. Therein lies the problem, there were perhaps too many puzzles for one room. I like more focused experiences. Now, surprisingly, I was doing quite well solving the puzzles. The ones I solved were of casual difficulty. However, there were two puzzles that I could not solve. There is no hint system. One was just trying to find a piece to wire the electricity. The other was trying to guide light beams, but with an obstruction in the way. They don't seem difficult, but I couldn't find the piece for the electrical system. I couldn't find a way to move the obstructions for the light beam. Game is running on the Unreal Engine. On my RTX 5090, I was getting a steady 90 fps. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs, but I did experience one that was minor but could have been more serious. A photo film dropped to the ground and I could not find it (I found it later behind the air tank). I brute forced the code because I couldn't locate this film with one of the code numbers. You do have full locomotion and teleportation available, along with smooth or snap turning. You can play comfortably seated. [b]Rate ?/10. I'm not sure how long the game is so I'm not rating it. I hope there's more content than just the one room. Interesting escape room! The puzzles are fun and varied. Overall, it's very impressive for a solo developer! The only thing I'd improve is the hand tracking/hand interaction precision. I had a bit of trouble pressing the buttons when entering codes. It took me about an hour to finish the game. I'd gladly pay for more escape rooms from this developer!
