Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 31 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In a last-ditch attempt to revitalise Amber Isle, Mayor Clawsworth reluctantly agrees to let you open a shop. During your adventure, you’ll learn more about your new friends, the history of the island and how exactly it fell into disrepair…

Let's stock the shelves and dust the displays, because it's almost opening time for your brand new adventure on Amber Isle!

Fun customizations, cozy game, and very cute <3
Amber Isle is a slightly above‑average game in the vein of Animal Crossing, centered mainly around crafting and running your own shop for the island’s dinosaur residents. The trading and shop‑management aspects make up a large portion of the experience, and they often interrupt the otherwise relaxing flow of building up your home base and socializing with the other dinosaurs. As the game progresses, the shopkeeping becomes tiring and repetitive, mostly due to the amount of micromanagement required. By the end, it felt more like work than a cozy routine. I’m still giving it a positive rating thanks to its charmingly illustrated world and pleasant atmosphere, but overall the game leans more toward the average side.

While the criticisms of Amber Isle are pretty valid (performance issues and very long tutorial), I think it's best played when you want to relax. It's a perfect steam deck game as it's easy to pick up, play for a an in-game day or two then set it back down. The presentation is charming and heartfelt. When comparing it to other games that try a similar thing, you're going to find fault but on its own Amber Isle is a pleasant way to enjoy a little light-hearted gaming before bed.
WHOLESOMEEEEE
It reminds me a little bit of Animal Crossing, but you're a shop owner and instead of customizing your house, you customize the shop. You craft the items you sell in the shop using your workbench and so far I'm sleeping in a room within said shop, but not sure if that changes later on. One thing I don't like is that once it becomes later in the evening you can't do anything besides sleep and start a new day, I would like to still be able to forage and explore without the game preventing that.
