Always Remember Me

A game that I played when I was in college. I think this was the first visual novel game that I ever played.

Though it was refreshing playing a female protagonist. The game was very bland and I felt could have been better.

The story is cute enough but has no depth, and the gameplay is just a grindfest of repeating actions to max one specific stat and the affection meter on the guy you want. The gameplay is sort of like Princess Maker, or Long Live the Queen, but without the charm of those games, while the romance lacks the depth of choice and story you'd get from a more traditionally structured Visual Novel/Otome. Maybe snag it on sale if you really want it.

Se potessi dare voto neutro, lo farei. Avevo adocchiato da tanto questo gioco, aspettando che fosse in sconto per non pentirmi del prezzo pieno. Ho atteso finchè non è stato il momento e, ad essere sincera, sono contenta di aver aspettato gli sconti. Always Remember me è un dating simulator tra i più semplici che abbia mai giocato. Non è una storia continua, non ci sono molte scene, devi sbloccarle tu andando nei luoghi definiti (e non sono nemmeno molti) della mappa, fare le attività e aumentare le statistiche. Il programma stesso, che io ho provato in passato, è stato sfruttato al minimo. Riassumendo: GRAFICA 5 Gradevole, anche se si ha l'effetto manga per tutto: i vecchi sono giovani con le rughe, i ragazzi sono stereotipi di ogni shoujo esistente sulla terra (il fighetto col cuore tenero, il timido, il maturo e il protagonista che ha tutto e niente). I chibi di Amy sono sempici e pure sbagliati (due mani sinistre, sigh) SISTEMA DI GIOCO 6/10 In realtà è appunto molto semplice, non terribile, ma se si vogliono fare tutti i finali (8 finali + 1 da single) diventa noiosetto (per fortuna c'è il tasto ctrl per velocizzare). TRAMA 6/10 Parte da una bellissima idea. Aaron si dimentica totalmente di Amy in seguito a un incidente in moto con lei. L'intento sarebbe fargli recuperare la memoria. Tuttavia, perde di intensità se si sceglie di seguire un'altra route. L'amore che c'era all'inizio della storia va nel vuoto cosmico e tanti saluti al titolo "Remember" PERSONAGGI 5/10 Un po' macchiette, poco originali, i finali con chi è diverso da Aaron sono abbastanza tristi (non nel senso commoventi. proprio tristi) DURATA 3/10 In 4 ore l'ho finito tutto. Tutti i finali, tutti i bonus possibili. Troppo corto, per quello che costa. PERSONALISSIMA VALUTAZIONE FINALE 5/10 5, è tutto e niente. Il gioco è apprezzabile e gradevole se lo si prende per quello che è, ma non consiglierei di comprarlo a prezzo intero, perchè dal mio punto di vista, non ne varrebbe la pena.

GAMEPLAY: The gameplay is very simple. It's just a clicking game, so no special skills needed there. STORYLINE: There are several storylines that changes with each playthrough which is nice. Each story is very short though. I've so far managed to get 3 different endings within only approximately 5 hours, where I took my sweet good time with every single storyline. So if you're expecting several hundreds of hours of gameplay, then you'll get disappointed. There are 8 (I think) different endings depending on which choices you make during your game and half of them are romantic endings. GRAPHICS: The graphics are like any other visual novel out there. The drawings are sorta cute if not extremely cartoony at times (which I guess is the point, so yeah! They succeeded!) MUSIC: The music score is very important to me, since I do enjoy amazing movie and game scores. However, the music from this doesn't really fit my personal tastes. It gets very repetitve very quickly, which kinda made me wanna turn off the music all together in the end. OVER-ALL: Gameplay: 6/10 Storyline: 7/10 Graphics: 8/10 Music: 2/10 Total score: 5,75/10

Game Tittle : Always Remember Me Game Type : Visual Novel, Dating Simulation Gameplay : Easy Accessibilty (just clicking here and there and enjoy the story), not many variety to offer but for a visual novel type of game, it's average. It could easily be too repetitive and in some aspect to achieve something the percentage of getting it is just too little (i spent 2 days doing the same 'practice writing' and somehow not getting ONE creativity :o ) Graphic and Design : Cute and nicely drawn character and chibi. A little to girly (but mostly because it's targeted for female player). Nicely drawn background though in some place it kinda felt to sketchy. Sound and Music : the music great. it fit with the teenage girls love story theme. I play it for quite a while but the song's a little late to get to me (might gonna put it on my music list) Storyline : It's cheesy and quite chlice ish. normal teenage girls drama you see. especially one with amnesia and stuff. but by putting it in front of the story make it entertaining i guess. felt rushed, and to be able to get close with the character without consequences make it less relevant to its player in my opinion. (its like we have to target one of the character and just get close to them since day 1). but the game's already out since 10 years ago :/. 7.9/10

While maybe not the best dating game out there, I do enjoy the fact that it's more of an open ended world like the flash dating games of old instead of a click-through story like most visual novel dating games are. I enjoy this game for what it gives. Simple entertainment. My problem is I'm too petty of a person to ever date anyone but Aaron. As stereotypical as the story can feel, I just can't willing let some Abigail chick steal my boyfriend just because he forgot me. I'd recommend it if you really enjoy sim dating games - especially the flash games. It has an incredibly similar vibe.

Fun to play, didn't knew there were 2 endings for each character so gotta continue

It's pretty good - the replays are VERY repetitive and the protagonist can get extremely frustrating, but overall, enjoyed it.

I personally really like the art style and think it's a great game
