Геймплеем напоминает.. а хотя что здесь писать, чушь! Не помню в какой ситуации купил её почти 10 лет назад, видимо сдача на "Балансе Steam" оставалась в 30 рублей, вот и приобрёл.
A Masterpiece of Suspense and Atmosphere: ALPAGES: THE FIVE BOOKS ALPAGES: THE FIVE BOOKS stands out as an exceptional gem in the horror gaming genre, delivering an immersive and thoroughly gripping experience that captivates players from start to finish. The game’s design is a testament to the developer's mastery of crafting an atmosphere that is both eerie and deeply engaging, ensuring that every moment feels purposeful and thrilling. 1. Enchanting Atmosphere and World-Building From the moment you step into the game’s mysterious alpine setting, you are enveloped by an environment that feels alive yet hauntingly desolate. The landscape is meticulously detailed, with fog-drenched forests, abandoned structures, and chilling vistas that perfectly capture the essence of an isolated, supernatural world. The use of lighting and shadows is particularly striking, creating moments of both subtle unease and outright terror. The sound design further amplifies this immersive atmosphere, with haunting melodies and unsettling ambient noises that ensure players remain on edge throughout their journey. 2. Engaging Gameplay Mechanics The core gameplay loop of searching for the titular five books while evading relentless, otherworldly threats is nothing short of exhilarating. Each encounter feels unique, and the pacing of these moments is expertly balanced. The difficulty progression keeps players constantly challenged but never overwhelmed, maintaining a sense of achievement and satisfaction with every step forward. The game’s AI is impressively dynamic, making each attempt to locate the books a fresh and unpredictable experience. The integration of puzzles and exploration adds layers of depth to the gameplay. These elements are cleverly designed to require both critical thinking and a keen sense of observation, rewarding players who take the time to fully immerse themselves in the game’s world. 3. Stunning Visuals and Artistic Direction Visually, ALPAGES: THE FIVE BOOKS is a treat. The art direction leans into a mix of realistic textures and surreal horror aesthetics, making every corner of the map both visually compelling and unsettling. The enemy designs deserve special praise; they are grotesque and imaginative, embodying the fear of the unknown in ways that will linger with players long after they’ve put the game down. 4. A Narrative That Invites Curiosity Although the story is not spoon-fed, it is layered with intriguing lore that encourages players to piece together the mystery on their own. The subtle storytelling, conveyed through environmental clues and cryptic messages, allows players to feel like true explorers uncovering a dark and enigmatic history. This approach not only enhances immersion but also adds replayability as players return to uncover more secrets. 5. Performance and Polish Technically, the game runs smoothly, with minimal loading times and a stable frame rate that ensures immersion is never broken. The controls are intuitive, allowing players to focus entirely on the experience without the frustration of clunky mechanics. The attention to detail in optimization is commendable, especially for a game of this scale and ambition. 6. Replayability and Lasting Impact What truly sets ALPAGES: THE FIVE BOOKS apart is its replayability. The randomization of enemy encounters and book locations means that no two playthroughs are ever the same. This unpredictability keeps the game fresh, challenging players to adapt their strategies with each attempt. The adrenaline-pumping moments and the lingering sense of dread are experiences players will want to relive time and again. Final Thoughts ALPAGES: THE FIVE BOOKS is a triumph in the horror gaming genre. It combines atmospheric storytelling, engaging gameplay, and outstanding visual and audio design into a cohesive experience that feels both innovative and timeless. For fans of horror games, this is a must-play title that sets a new standard for indie horror. Its ability to immerse, terrify, and entertain all at once makes it a shining example of what the genre can achieve. Whether you are a seasoned horror enthusiast or a newcomer looking for an unforgettable thrill, ALPAGES: THE FIVE BOOKS will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression. This is not just a game; it’s an experience that challenges and delights in equal measure. 10/10 – An unforgettable journey into the heart of fear.
I can recommend this game, for $0.09. At first it's really dumb but when you figure it out it presents an element of challenge to it. To me it's an arcade game that you put a quarter into and when you die the game is over and you have to put in another quarter to play again. But instead of having to do that you pay $0.09 to play it as many times as I wish. It doesn't have a lot of replay-ability except in the sense that I mentioned above. Because you play it to try and survive as long as possible and try and kill the witch. If I had to make a change to the game it be to add more game modes than just being a magnet to the zombies and animals. There's a little bit of comedy to the game, because of what occurs when you get multiple people to give it a go and what ends up happening to them. There's no options whatsoever but luckily the game does run pretty well for what it is. I wish it had controller support but if you know how to K&M then you shouldn't have a problem with that. I wouldn't pay more than a quarter for this game, so I can't value it above fifty cents for people that pay more money than I do for video games. The dollar at full price is justified because it plays like a game that's a dollar on Steam. I'd also agree that it plays like a demo or a free to play game. These are just my thoughts from my experience with the game.
Ja es ist Trash aber es ist spaßiger Trash. Also wer bock auf ein spaßigen und trashigen Horror Shooter hat kann hier gerne zugreifen :D
Best Investment of my 10 cents
we need Ach, cloud save, cn.
Alpages: The five books is a single player horror shooter, where you have to try and survive a zombie Apocalypse as you collect five books in order to survive. Graphics- bad Soundtrack- Not great Audience- Teenagers Difficulty- quite Easy Story- Not much of a story Game time- It's got a decent length Price- Its very cheap for good reason 3/10
This is the worst game I've played this year. The assets are really bad, also the game world sucks, really, don't recommend this at all.
