Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on Steam. Fool me 500 times just because I want more impressive indie horror games but they never show up. I always look forward to playing indie horror games just in the hopes that something amazing stands out this however is the epitome of Steam Indie Horror. It's exceptionally generic. Headbanging enemies with infinite stamina which sound like pigs, dull environments and thinking that darkness equals scariness. It doesn't. At first the game seems ok. Just a normal indie horror game. Then you start to run into monsters and it just ruins the game. you get chased by this thing that sounds like a pig getting murdered and its non stop until you let it kill you. I had three of them chasing me and it was the worst sound I have ever heard in a game. Then you come across some loading screens that is just a ringing sound and it just gets louder and louder so you just have to skip the scene missing any information given to you. For some reason you can not tab out of the game either your only option is to close the game completely to switch to anything else. The flashlight is so bright it completely washes everything out and kills your eyes. I usually give games like this at least a few hours but with the sound and visuals it was unbearable. At this time I would say avoid this game until it gets some major updates

This one... is not perfect, but I must say that, in terms of horror game, then it delivers what it promises. When I saw the credits, I understood that it was basically made by one only person, it's important to say that looking at this point, it's a great game. I had good scares, I was curious to understand the story (which is really well interpretive) and I really liked the story. It doesn't present great difficulty and to understand the story, it takes a lot and gather all the items (which is not bad, but I didn't particularly like it). But overall, it's a good game, worth the price for a short experience.

Joguei o game em live, achei o começo e a dublagem meio engraçada mais o game por ser curto e por não ter ajuda de ninguém praticamente, somente feito por pessoas dedicadas o game por incrível que pareça é bom, acho que faltou uma trilha sonora no fundo e também quando vc esta sendo caçado, e também acho que faltava algum inventário mais sei que algumas coisas são complicadas de ser feita. I'll be honest I'd be lying if I said this game is perfect but something about it really drew me in. Pros: - Fairly straightforward - More then one type of enemy - Some nice variety in baddies Cons: - It is still notably early access - No translation outside of Portuguese for spoken dialog at this time. - The enemy AI is still a little weak. Overall it's still a work in progress and it shows but it does have a lot of potential and honestly.... I was low key in love with how they did some of the layering of items. I think that given more time this can be a true gem. I give it 6/10 crossbow bolts and can't wait until it gets it's next upgrade to make that score higher.

Здесь есть неплохая завязка: человек оказывается в загородном домике и узнает, что местные жители состоят в неком культе, что они приносили жертвоприношения, и теперь из-за этих ритуалов происходит нечто ужасное. Вначале даже есть видеоролик, который сделан весьма стремно и придает игре нужный лад. Но как только начинается геймплей, игра просто ломается на глазах - сплошная темнота, огромная карта, громкие монстры с непонятными звуками. Если вас ранят и вы потеряете одно очко здоровья, готовьтесь слушать очень неприятный звук "опасности" до тех пор, пока здоровье не восстановится. Дело в том, что игра могла бы получиться веселым трэшем, в котором было бы забавно бегать от монстров, читать записки и выполнять какие-то цели. Но проблема в том, что в игру просто неприятно играть, да и смотреть тоже. Потенциал определенно есть, но над его раскрытием совершенно не поработали. Если бы Alone Again был бесплатным, то и спроса было бы меньше. А за почти 300 рублей можно найти проекты получше.

It's a good game. With problems? Yes, with problems, but nothing that is a bad experience. It's an average game, but fun, enjoyable and with a more complex story than it looks. I recommend playing.
