cute little game, doesn't receive updates but if it is on sale its a good deal. You can play for a decent number of hours, some of the achievements are pretty annoying to get but overall a fun game to explore all the paths you can take.
I am not usually attracted to these kinds of games. But this one is very well done and I found myself going back to this game over and over again. It's a nice way to kill time and try to get all of the achievements. I enjoyed it and I'm sure someone who likes this style of gameplay will too.
It's fun enough, but once you realize that there's only a certain outcome with each card, it does get kind of boring and starts repeating itself a whole lot. Didn't have the patience to grind through all of the outcomes, but I'd still recommend it. Easy and fast to play.
An interesting card driven adventure. You choose some base characteristics like race and background before an adventure and then proceed to make choices based on the cards you draw. Along your adventure you level up, get perks, unlocks skills/classes, get companions, earn money. Its pretty DnD, leaving a lot to the imagination. Id recommend using a pen and paper as well, as you will also get quests and tasks, but you cant look these up anywhere, so you need to remember where points of interest could be while exploring in order to fulfill objectives and progress. Fun old school adventuring with some modern presentation. 7/10
Barmaid/Cart/Siren/Max/Hag/Sckozhak Man/Mushroom Princess/Fallen Star
Alluris is a Single player, Choose your own adventure game, with a card style format that you use for 2 options that can drastically change as you progress through the game. At first you'll be thrown into the game completely blind, wondering if one should hold onto treasure if it would benefit you later on your journey (which it's better to sell it when you can), or should I try the archery competition for the fifth time to win a cash prize? This game has choices, and a good selection of choices, and that's where the fun comes into play, also a lot of dead heroes, heroines and what have you's. You could fit a map of the land on a single piece of paper, and even then you'd never need it because the world is easy to remember and traverse, even easier with the right equipment. If you're looking for a light hearted game that you can have your brain wrap around connecting dot to dot quests in a vast world to explore, Alluris is a good pick.
Buy if on sale. Feels more like a mobile game than something proper, though had a bit fun playing the 3 hours so far. Also felt like the content started to repeat itself quite fast.
