Great space combat sim for anyone who likes the genre, thought the price can be a bit steep.
Played on normal. Stick + keyboard. Ran well. I had a few crashes but I also noticed I was playing on an older version so maybe that's fixed already. Crashes never impeded my progress. Design reminds me of Wing Commander. Massive enemy spam reminds me of Wing Commander Prophecy specifically. I enjoyed the game. Story was interesting and had a few twists and turns along the way. Flying was solid and combat enjoyable, in the way that enemy horde combat sims are. I suppose it's worth noting that you only fly one ship in this game and that ship has only one loadout. This didn't bother me though. What's here is good and fun to fly, so I'm happy. This game also doesn't have any way to command your wingmen. Not a problem with the way missions are designed here. Missions themselves were fun. Leaned a bit more into "kill everything" rather than tactical bomber priorisation, at least on normal. I mean I did try to prioritise bombers when such were on the field, but I can't say I noticed much of an effect on the overall flow of the battle. Environments were beautiful and sometimes you were fighting in asteroid fields so you couldn't just blindly drift willynilly. I didn't count my playtime but I'm guessing somewhare around or over 10 hours. Eager to see how much more Urban Logic will make of this setting.
Good looking and fun indie space shooter. 22 missions (last one is only dialogue) of good space fights. I did end up bumping the difficulty down to easy as I found it annoying that you only get 5 rockets but it takes 2 to take down a heavy fighter, there are rocket resupplies but they are scare and only when defending your ally frigate. Nice feature to be able to divert power at will between speed - shields - guns, along with the direction of the shield energy on your ship.
One of the best VR space games I've ever played. Excellent dogfights, fantastic controls, great flying experience.
I've been playing with a Hotas Wathog joystick and throttle (the pedals seem to be ignored by the game). Sometimes it fires on its own constantly for no apparent reason, then it fixes itself. I don't know how to rotate. It's great to be able to control the ship with Meta controllers, but the game doesn't seem to be working properly. For now, I'd give it a 4/10.
This feels like the classic Wing Commander experience. Challenging dogfights, simple cinematics between missions, really tight satisfying combat sequence. Developer is active and fixing bugs, very responsive to observations or complaints. A little pricey but it really scratches the itch better than buying 3 other $9 games that don't quite deliver.
Thoroughly enjoying this game so far, lovely cartoony graphics that are reminiscent of Star Fox with gameplay like a modern version of the early wing commander games. It runs beautifully on my steam deck on default settings, and scales up nicely to my more powerful desktop rig. Like many people I agree that speech would help to add atmosphere, maybe in a later update, or even paid dlc like Wing Commander? Even without this, a lovely space combat game, a genre that may be out of fashion but is very close to my heart.

What a great game! This is a Wing Commander like space sim with an interesting story campaign and great mission design. You have exciting space fights against small fighters and a few larger ships. You are part of a flight wing and will have wingmates on most of the missions. One thing that this game does right in my eyes that so many others fail to do: It gives you the original Wing Commander/Tie Fighter feeling of you being just a one small part of a much larger operation. Yes, you might be the pilot with the highest kill count but you are still just one guy supported by capable wingmates in a more than capable fleet. You are not special and do not have special abilities, nor is your ship something special/magical/sentient/whatever. You are not a lone fighter against some greater evil. You are not the center of the universe. No, you are simply a regular (or let's say very good) pilot in a regular fighter. I love that! Of course, this clearly is an Indie title by a small team which you can recognize in a lot of different areas (graphics, enemy variation, no voice overs, etc.) but they did an awesome job and it is a great foundation for future titles by the team. I'm already looking forward to their next game.
Love the space combat. It looks extra cool in vr. Though I have to say the strongest point is the fun campaign and the cutscenes. Also looks extra cool when you launch from the spaceships themselves. Do note it will take some time for you to get used to controlling the ship, though a short time.
